The airplane took off hours ago, and we were already halfway to our destination. As I looked out the private plane’s window, I couldn’t help but think of what will happen when we get there.
Amari’s mother hates me and going through her insults once again might just make me want to leave everything behind and go back home. But… I was not here for her. I was here for Amari and for Reanna.
