S U M M A R Y
Carla, a seventeen-year-old rankless she-wolf who worked at the ground floor of the palace with other rankless wolves had a huge crush on the Gamma of the pack, Mint.
Since Carla had the ability to communicate with sign language, she got a promotion when she was promoted to start working as the Alpha King’s mate who was mute. There she became best friend with the Luna Queen of the pack.
On a yearly ball organized by the pack, Carla dressed up magnificently like the daughter of a high-ranked wolf with a disguise of blond hair on her chestnut brown hair with some heavy and convincing make up. She intentionally approached Mint knowing he would never give her audience if she looked like she did every other day with her stewardess uniform and worn out clothes.
She asked Mint for a dance and from there, they both kicked it off. Carla’s only wish was that Mint gets her first kiss as he was her first love, even though he didn’t even know of her existence before she approached him at the ball.
Her wish gets granted that night and she felt like she was ready to move on because she knows that Mint would never accept the feelings of a rankless wolf and a nobody like her, as they weren’t even mates.
Few weeks later, Carla discovers that Mint had been searching for her with the fake name she gave to him at the ball so she decided to go to him on her birthday to see him one last time with her regular disguise. But as she got to the hospital where Mint worked, she found out he was her mate.
The discovery made matters worse for Carla because Mint had totally fallen for her fake self and he was so happy with the fact that he had finally found his mate. After succeeding to escape his grasp without giving out any information about herself, she decides to avoid him until she had made something out of herself.
Meanwhile, Mint continues to search hopelessly for his mate who he knew was avoiding him but he had no idea why she would, or what he did wrong.
Carla continues to avoid Mint till the day when everything changes and he meets her as the rankless she wolf she was. His wolf recognizes his mate, but Mint couldn’t believe he have been deceived by someone he loved so much. His anger doubled when he realized that he was mated to a rankless she wolf.
His family were among the highest ranked wolves in the realm, and she was nothing, she had no career, no future, nothing. He couldn’t accept her, and the pain causes him to run.
She wants to avoid him at all cost too now that he knew who she really was. She realistically accepts her situation and decided to run away as well.
However, fate had other plans for them when they both meet themselves at the same place they were both running to.
