Driving until the gas icon began to blink upon the dashboard, Dominick finally pulled over after a few hours. A seedy gas station marked with broken light fixtures, a few pumps ‘out of order’ and buzzing with flies laid before them as Cartier pulled herself from the passenger seat and towards the convenient store. Before she managed to cross the car and venture towards the side the pumps rested on, she was pulled towards Dominick, his body pinning her against the car effortlessly.
