*Raj’s POV*
The cottage was just in our view and my heart started racing quicker. I hadn’t even realized my breathing was getting a little quicker as well until I felt his hand grabbing mines. The zing got me out of my head and I looked at him, grateful that he was able to pull me from what I thought was going to be an anxiety attack. He parked the car in front, and there was nothing but silence surrounding us.
“You don’t have to do this alone” Arkyn said softly. I nodded, unsure if speaking was a good idea. I would probably croak like a frog instead of forming normal words, so I simply squeezed his hand before leaving the car. He got out right after me, but stayed near the car to give me space.
