Chapter 49
When the elevator door opened, my heart went into my throat. I didn’t know if anyone was in there, I was worried I would run into Tate, but it was empty.
“Empty.” I sighed in relief.
Pressing the button, I saw Joey coming, and he didn’t look happy. I wasn't sure if the door would close before he got to me, if he got to me I would be in a lot of trouble.
“Close!” I screamed, the doors closed before he managed to stop them, I heard a loud thug, I know he can beat me downstairs, but I hope I get out of here.
I couldn’t believe I got away from him, I knew I still had to find Leon and avoid Tate. I don’t know what the hell he is going to do to me if he gets to me first. I know he is going to be pissed that I got away from him but that is what he gets for thinking Joey was smart
