Chapter 63
With Joey gone and these two constantly watching me, part of me thinks Tate hired them because he knows I will try and get away from him. Every time I get up and move, they move too. Part of me wants to tell them they need to leave me alone but I know Tate told them to be around in case I decided to run.
I am not going to run, not yet. I will wait until he is distracted again and maybe Joey can help me get away but I know trusting Joey will be hard. I do remember what he did to me, and he laughed as he did it so I don’t know if he does care about me.
“Where Joey?” Tate said coming and putting his arm around me. “He is supposed to be here with you?”
“I sent him out to get some stuff.” I lied. “I think he should be back soon, I mean I hope he is back soon.”
