I came to a stop on the drive outside of my house, Rose still hadn't said a word since leaving the hospital. I thought that maybe she would have said something the moment Enola was no longer with us but to my surprise, she remained quiet.
I switched off the engine and took the keys out of the ignition, "I'm going to my room," She said quietly as she pushed open her door.
I hopped out and ran around to help her down but I was shocked to see her already out of the truck. "I'll walk with you" I offered her my hand.
"It's fine, I can manage" she snapped as she walked past me towards the house.
I closed her door and followed behind her, I wasn't sure if I should say anything to her. I was certain it must have been Enola to put her in this mood she was in but why was she angry at me?
