I bounded down the stairs two at a time heading back towards the office. I wanted to take Rosalie on a tour of the pack to help her feel more settled. I felt an unfamiliar sense of joy that I had not felt in a long time, she had agreed to carry a child for me, it just felt very different this time, I couldn't quite put my finger on the reason why it felt different but I liked the feeling regardless.
I reached the bottom of the stairs and headed down the corridor toward my office. "Your majesty, do you have a moment?" I heard an out-of-breath voice coming call from behind me followed by alot of banging.
I turned to see Lucy struggling through the door with a large bag. "Lucy, what on earth are you doing?" I asked her as I rushed to her side taking the bag from her.
