CHAPTER 33 I glance out the window and see that the snow has started to fall. Fat, heavy flakes. I can never see weather like this without thinking of our trip to Leavenworth. Chris and I had been married for a year. It was our anniversary. Pretty big deal, considering all we’d gone through in the past twelve months. Me losing Daddy. Him losing his temper.
