Chapter Two
While Phoebe and Supay were enjoying family life, Apollo was not quite so lucky. Depressed about losing Phoebe, he had taken to spending his afternoons and evenings in a bar. It was not an exciting life, but it was all he had the willpower to do. Once, he had almost killed himself. Alone at home, he had taken out a g*n and considered firing it into his skull. As soon as that thought crossed his mind, he remembered stories of people who did not die from head wounds. He shuddered to think about what life would be like if he was mentally incapacitated or a vegetable. Not only that, but shooting himself was the coward's way out. He could do better than that.
