Life always brings surprises.
"Ahh!" I shout at the top of my lungs to the creature, Abigor; whatever his name is. It stands there leisurely with his wings spread out, smiling at me like it's normal that he appeared out of nowhere. He can't be my familiar! All the students got cute little animals, well with some exemptions especially Luke's. But still, there's no one with a man-like creature and he is talking for goodness sake! I thought I would finally fit in, and now what? I will be doom for the rest of my stay in the academy!
Panic mixed with fright, I try looking around at the annoyed faces, my classmates are giving me; why aren't they running the hell out? Am I the only one afraid of such creatures? Are they so used to something like him that they are not fazed anymore?
