Sunflower:Chapter two

Ava looked at me, she looked so innocent her friend Nina was a cunt tho she just looked at me. Kenny gave me a thumbs up. I don't want to ruin something with her before it even started. We're sitting outside of a f*****g s*x shop. My father keeps blowing up my phone and Ava looked scared out of her mind.

'chill, okay' I said 

' So the party I have no issue with me driving or you can, ' She said ' There will not be Nina or Brooklyn because sometime there bitches' 

I nodded and then she took out a pen and wrote a number on my arm; she did that and took her leave I walked over to Kenny because we needed to have some words with each other. Kenny looked at me. I walked over to her.

'What the f**k' I said 

'Come on, you would not tell her, also she looks like a sunflower, ' Kenny said 

I rolled my eyes as Kenny was looking around, Spencers holding up stuff with a smile, acting out as if she was using them. Kenny is one of my friends who I refuse to bring outside. She pushed back her green hair. Kenny handed me a black sunflower vibrator .

'Give this to your sunflower. She probably thinks that if she touches herself that devil will get her, ' Kenny said

We paid for our item and walked out of the store. Ava was in every other store and I was trying to avoid her because of Kenny. Kenny's mouth is going to be the death of me I know she tries to be there and supportive but she kinda just doing too much for me. There was a store that had a nice romper. I needed something new to wear. My phone went off from a text and call from my father. I didn't have time for him but I know him he not going to stop calling or texting until I reposed. I rolled my eyes and sigh as I answered the phone.

'Yes, Mark' I said 

'I am your father, girl, and you will treat me with respect. When are you coming home to make dinner' He said 

'I don't know I'm shopping with a friend' I said 

He went on about how my grandmother was coming over and that I had to be home to greet her and that I had to make dinner for her. I rolled my eyes. I understand helping around the house, but he wants me to cook, clean, and do everything else. He doesn't care about me so why should I care about him, he won't accept the fact that I'm bi. He brings me down about how I'm a girl who likes other girls and that I need a powerful man to take care of me. My grandmother called me as I was on the phone with my father. I hung up the phone and answered the phone for my grandmother. She was talking about how she missed me and couldn't wait to see me and she wanted to know if there was anyone I found cute. My grandmother has always been supportive of me and she always wanted to know if I found any girls or boys that I liked. 

'Hello, Grandma River' Kenny yelled

'Is that Kenny tell her I said hello, also is this a date' My grandmother say

'No, Grandma River, she has a girl that she likes she likes a sunflower and her name Ava, ' Kenny said 

I hit Kenny playful what the hell, she just told my grandmother, My grandmother wanted to know all the details about Ava and I didn't know what to say, Ava a girl who doesn't know if she likes guy boys them or more. We keep walking and my grandmother sent me fifty dollars and told me not to tell my father and thanked her before hanging up the phone. Ava and her friends stopped me, but Nian and Brooklyn didn't stay. She had glitter in her hair and pigtail. She had this had this enormous smile on her face; I wondered what she did or what was thinking. I gave Kenny an twenty, and she smiled as she went to aunt Anne's. Logan and he's boys were cheering and all that. Logan came over to us and wrapped his hand around Ava's waist. She looked so uncomfortable.

'Who your friend?' He asked 

'Don't f*****g touch me okay, ask her yourself she can talk and you can do, ' Ava said 

I rolled my eyes then when of his friend came over to me and he slid his hand down my back and laid it on my butt. I Kicked him in the c**k and he fell with a groan, Logan and his other friends laughed at their friend pain. Ava just smiled like she knew that what he used to and she was glad that he got what he deserved. Ava whispered something in Logan's ear, and it made him smile. It made my heart sunk what did she tell him. Logan walked away and took his friends along with him. Ava grabbed my hand, and we ran into this store and they had everything from vapes to weed. She smiled and handed the man a fifteen, and he handed her these candy rolls. She and I went to her car, and she took some of the candy roll.

I nodded and took a piece she smiled we sat in the car listen to music until the candy kicked in. I pushed back Ava's hair, her eyes fluttered, she was laughing. She pulled back her seat as she laughed I think she was high off her ass right now. Ava was shaking her hair and dancing as she removed his sweater and took off her bra. What was she doing, Ava was carefree? I wasn't that high off my ass to drive? I texted Kenny to tell her where I've been off to and she replied with do nothing I wouldn't do. I let the drive take us slow. Ava pulled her hand out the window and let the air take control. Her phone went off, and I didn't know what to do and she was high off her ass with the ringtone, just to keep saying it's Nina, it's Nina. Now that I know, it's no f*****g way in hell that will answer the phone. Nina will say something like I drugged her, and I stole her car because I needed to hide a body or something. The phone stopped ringing and there was a voicemail notification after a minute. Ava came to her senses after an hour of the ride. She put her address on the phone and we were off. She was jamming out to some singer name Pia Mia.

I felt like I was a judge and then Ava's father came in and now I know I'm being judged for something. Ava mouthed to her parents what the big deal, and they didn't repose back; I was not good with parents. How could I be my f*****g father wasn't a saint? I got up and walked out the door. I could hear Ava calling after me, but I didn't want to hear it.

'What the f**k was that, did you want your family to sit in so you don't have to be pressured by the Bi kid' I said 

'No Nora, it's not like that I didn't even know they were going to do that, ' She said 

'How am I going to believe the f*****g girl who doesn't even know what she likes' I said 

When I heard what I said, and I saw her face. s**t, why did I say that I didn't wait to explain myself until I ran away from her. I called my grandmother to see if she can pick me up and she told me to wait at the gas station. I f****d up. I said something I shouldn't have said that to her or anyone. 'Sweetie, do you think Ava meant to do that' She said 

'I don't know after all, I only knew her for a day and I don't want a Romeo and Juliet relationship with the suicide, ' I said 

'Yeah, but if this was I want to be invited to the wedding, ' She said 

I laughed and then assured her that if I get married, I would need her to walk me down. When we got home, dad was there, and I didn't want to talk to him, but he was there with a girl. She was blonde, looked like Barbie doll, but she had her flaws like us all. She smiled at me as she got up and hugged me who does this b***h think she is hugging people like that.

'Um Mark, who this' Grandma said 

'Hi, I'm Charlie,' she said 

She was about to hug grandma but grandma looked at her like, don't try that bullshit on me or my granddaughter again. My dad notice the tears in my eyes and he didn't care, but he still debated on asking because he knew it had something to do with my 'Gay side'.

I ran to my room and slammed the door; he was trying so hard to keep control in front of Samantha, or whatever her name is. My phone went off, and I didn't want to bother to answer it, but maybe Ava got my number from someone. But it was an unknown number, and it read: stay away from Ava Kinsella. What the f**k, they can't tell me who I can't be around. I threw my phone across the room it was probably that boy Logan and his sister Nina. My grandmother knocked on my door to tell me that dad left with Samantha and to check in on me.

'We're going to be having dinner soon, ' She said 

'Okay, you can have it without me, ' I said 

'If Ava is the way you say she is, she'll no you made a mistake in your words' She said 

I hope that was true because I don't want to lose Ava's friendship or whatever we had. I laid in bed, sick to my stomach. That I could say anything like that to anyone, let alone Ava. It scared me to know how she sees me now. My grandmother left my room, and I laid there thinking; I know my thoughts are the why I'm here now. There was another knock at the door, and I opened it. Kenny was there she gave me a hug I guess my grandmother filled her in on what happened.

'Aww, the sunflower broke you, ' She said 'Come on, we should go to the skate park' 

I didn't want to go anywhere but I know Kenny she going to make me go anyway so I should get ready. She walked out of the room. I put on my my baggy tee and my ripped jeans I have a love for them now. I grabbed my board; I put on my black and white vans and I was on my way.

'Grandmother, we're going to the stake park, ' I said 

We walked out of the door. Kenny talked about she didn't understand how I could someone all upbeat like Ava. That she a sunflower and I was a dark moon. I rolled my eyes that was nonsense she just doesn't understand that Ava much move than that.

'Ava is more than a sunflower', I said

I rolled my eyes when we got to the skate park. There was Logan and his friends it didn't take Kenny that long to flirt with one friend. I rolled my eyes as Logan walked up to me. I didn't want to hear anything he had to say. Nina had her hand wrapped around one friend. I rolled my eyes as she did the same thing back at me. Nina, no friend of Ava. I will not let them ruin my time on the board. I hopped on the board and let the wind take over. When I board I let nothing get in the way, my thoughts are clear: it's just me and the board. I noticed Ava was there with Logan. She didn't even bother to look at me. I knew now it was time for me to go home. I got off the ramp and walked myself back home. I don't what to do since the new in town I don't know anyone but Kenny and she left me for one of Logan's boys. When I got home, I just plopped myself on my bed My grandmother came into my room with a slice of pizza. I wasn't hungry. I would rather just sit on the porch. I got a text from Kenny.

Kenny: Can you tell my mom if she called that I'm at your house, I'm having out with Brad 

Brad is Kenny new f**k buddy, I don't get why she hangs out with theses asshole I don't get it. I got in some reading because in class were reading the great Gatsby, but what so great about this guy also I don't think the book gets good until chapter 3. I started marking notes, Daisy wanted her daughter to be a fool which is bullshit, why would you want your daughter be you. Gatsby just gives off stalker vibes as he stands out in front of Daisy's house. And the ending is bullshit nobody showed up at his funeral. Daisy, the love of his f*****g life, couldn't even bother to show. Also, Nick was a little questionable. I closed the book before I finished with it. My grandmother tried to get me to eat something. I wanted to call Ava and see if she could come over but she with Logan, so she probably doesn't want to be bothered with me. I sat on the porch, texting back and forth with Kenny.

Kenny: Brad not that bad

Kenny did not say sensual, I think I just threw up in my mouth she was just ignored everything I said and was just being up Brad ass I never understand people type. Brad was just toxic as hell. There was a car approaching my house who would want to visit here did grandma order more food or is day's supplier, I don't have time for anything. We walked into the house and she greeted my grandmother who is a hugged, Ava was going to shake her hand and my grandmother went in for the hug. We went into my room. I notice her looking around. We pulled away, and she had a smile on her face.

'Wow', she said,
