Chap 6: First Encounter

***Alpha Nora POV***

The annoying sound of the alarm woke me up from my beauty sleep. I groaned and opened my eyes a little, and picked up the alarm from my bedside, smashing it against the wall.

I turned in bed and closed my eyes, going back to sleep.

" What are you still doing in bed, Nora? Do you know the time ?" Elyssa's voice rung in my ears the same time I heard the door open.

I groaned into my pillow, refusing to open my eyes or reply to her questions. I was fighting to stay in the dreamland. The room became quiet and I sighed in relief, thinking Elyssa had left me alone.

But that wasn't the case. I felt the bed cover slowly slip off my body and someone jumped on my back.

I groan in annoyance

" Wake up sleepy head" Elyssa yelled into my ears, giggling.

" What the f**k do you want?" I mumbled.

If she wasn't my best friend, her dead body would be lying lifeless on the floor within a second.

" Do you know what time it is?" She asked.

" I don't give a damn about the time. I just want to sleep some more!! Please leave me the hell alone" I stated harshly.

She giggled, knowing very well how frustrating she was making me feel.

I felt her getting out of bed and I rejoiced in victory. A few seconds later, I felt water spewing into my face.

I screamed and jerked up from the bed there and then, with my eyes closed since the water was dripping off my face.

I wipe the water off my face with my palms.

" What the f**k is wrong with you?" I screamed at Elyssa the moment my eyes opened.

I glared at her.

She giggled.

" Have you forgotten where we are Alpha?" She questioned with her hand on her waist like a female teacher ready to discipline her student.

" What are you saying? " I asked, a little bit disoriented since I slept less.

She shook her head, staring at me as if I was an alien.

" We are still in the bunker. The Pack members are waiting for you", She rumbled.

Oh crap

I kicked the bed cover with my legs and jumped out of bed. My head was banging painfully. I had a very bad headache. I had a little sleep, less than three hours. I felt completely drained .

My mind was occupied with the thought of Mr. Stranger throughout the night.

" Mr stranger, all this is your fault. You took advantage of my mind and slept last night", I mumbled, rushing into the bathroom, forgetting to put on my slippers.

I quickly got rid of my short white sleeping dress and stepped into the shower. I picked up argan oil shampoo and squeezed a small amount into my palm. I briskly washed my hair and body with argan oil shower gel. I love the scent.

Within a minute, I was out wiping the water off my body with a large blue cotton towel. I stepped out of the bathroom wrapped in a towel and walked to the closet. I got dressed in a pair of black leggings and a blue shirt. I put my beautiful curly black hair in a bun and made my way out of the room.

" That was quick" Elyssa stated as soon as I stepped out of the room. She was waiting for me in the hallway.

" Yeah, let's go" I uttered, walking to the main entrance of the bunker. Elyssa followed me silently.

I rub my temples with two fingers, trying to minimize the pain in my head. My head was really bashing me as if it was being hammered.

“Good morning, everyone” I said in an authoritative voice when I got to the entrance of the bunker.

I found almost all the pack members thronging the exit.

“Good morning Alpha”, the chorus, bowing.

Immediately when they saw me coming, they took a step back, paving the way for me to pass.

“You all know the drill. The leaders of the pack and the warriors have to finish the early morning rounds before the rest of you can move out. So sit calmly and wait”, I spoke in a stern tone, looking at the pack members in front of me.

“Yes Alpha” they respectfully mumbled as they dispersed. Leaving my beta, gamma, delta, my warriors and I at the exit point.

I revolve to the electrified metallic gate and input the four-digit code. A c***k sound was heard as the door opened.

I was the first to step out of the bunker, followed by my men and women. A thud was heard straight away as the electrified door locked when we moved out of the bunker.

“Lilly, josh, take the patrol warriors to the borders for rounds. Make sure the borders are heavily guarded at all times. We don’t want our enemies to think we have gone soft and weak after the red moon”, I ordered.

“Absolutely Alpha”, Lilly stated and glanced at the warriors. “ Let’s go,”

“Where do we start?” Elyssa asked behind me.

I turned to the rest of the warriors.

“Spread out on all the six floors. I want each room to be searched thoroughly for rogues or intruders. I want this done within twenty minutes”, I commanded.

“Yes Alpha”, they muttered and jumped into action.

I nodded and ambled, ascending the stairs from the underground, making my way to the first floor.

Few minutes later.........

“Alpha, we have a situation” Josh, my delta’s voice popped in my head through the mind link.

“What is it?” I asked, frowning.

“We have an intruder at the east border!” he stated.

I roared!!!

Who the hell made a big mistake crossing my land? I am not known as the ruthless alpha female for nothing. I do not show mercy to rogues and wolves who do not follow my number one rule; that is, never cross my land. I will definitely not forgive this intruder for stepping onto my land. I will rip his head off his body and tear him into shreds.

At a fast speed, I ran out of the pack house and shifted into my ten-foot midnight black wolf, who is taller than most of the Alphas in this region. In a rage, I gave a loud menacing growl and dashed into the woods, running east. I run faster

I pushed forward, running and out of the blue, I was hit by a distinctive smell which was very pleasant to my nose. My wolf and I inhaled deeply.

“What is that scent?” I asked my wolf Nelly.

“I don’t know” she replied as she ran faster than ever.

It smells like fresh grass and the forest scent after a heavy rain. I love the smell already as it fills all my senses. “wow”

My wolf ran straight to the originator of the scent with predatory gaze as soon as we got to the eastern border.

“ Alpha” the warriors said in unison as they bowed.

My wolf, on the other hand, ignored them completely.

Immediately, when my wolf's eyes fell on the naked unconscious man on the floor. My wolf spun around and growled loudly at the warrior gazing at the naked man. The warriors quickly looked away with fear in their orbs. Nelly spun around towards the intruder, a wave of heat and an unexplained emotion passed through us. I felt our anger slowly fading away and ceasing. My wolf stared down at the bleeding man as she growled.

“MINE, MINE,”

“ What do you mean by mine? He is not our mate” I asked Nelly in a confused voice.

“He is ours. I can feel it” she growled at me.

“What do you mean you can feel it?” I queried.

“You won’t understand” she stated, closing our link and shutting me out completely..

My wolf Nelly moved towards his wounds and started licking his open wound. The wound started closing up. My wolf and I have healing abilities when I touch a wounded person. The person gets healed, but with my wolf, her healing power is through her saliva. So she licked him until the wound closed up.

She then pressed her nose and her black fur against the intruder.

“No no don’t you dare do that” I screamed through our mind-link, pushing forward, but all my efforts fell on deaf ears.

Nelly rubbed her nose and fur, scenting the intruder. My wolf was actually imprinting on the man.

“Nelly, you can’t do that. Everyone will smell our scent on him” I yelled in confusion. My wolf has never behaved like this before. This is the first time I've seen her like this.

“YES I WANT THEM TO SMELL OUR SCENT ON HIM. I WANT EVERYONE TO KNOW HE IS MINE “she roared out, totally ignoring my reasoning.

She rubbed against the man intensively until she was satisfied with the results. She licked the man’s checks, making the man purr in his unconscious state.

I scrutinized the unconscious man through my wolf’s eyes.

“Why does he look familiar?" I knitted my brows " I have met this man before but where?” I asked inwardly, still examining curiously.

Then it clicked, the answer flashed through my mind. Series of my dreams for the past three years flashed into my mind

And realization drew on my face as the face of the man in my dream became visible.

“ It’s him” my eyes widened in disbelief.

What the f**k!!

This can’t be happening!!

MY HANDSOME DREAM MAN IS REAL?

I felt faint instantly.

I couldn’t believe I was seeing clearly. My eyes swept on his entire body, like I was searching for something. Something to believe that I was actually seeing him and not a fragment of my imagination or dream.

I took my time studying every inch of his body carefully, his dirty blonde hair was vibrant and he had a chiseled face. His jaw looked strong and firm. He looked very manly with broad shoulders. His eight pack was on display. I wanted to run my tongue into his chest.

But I forced my eyes to move back to his face, he looked like a Greek god. I so much wished I could see the color of his eyes. I would have had a perfect picture of him imprinted on my mind.

I felt overwhelmed looking down at the unconscious stranger who had been disturbing my dreams for the past three years.

I circled around him steadily trying to wrap my brain around the unexpected turn of events.
