Richard blinked his eyes, “I seemed to understand but also not.”
“If you didn’t understand what I said, then there is no one in the world that could explain this to you. Get lost,” saying that, Samantha turned away from him and looked out the window to enjoy the sight of their journey.
Richard looked at her back and pouted. He moved closer to her and softly pulled the corner of her sleeve using his fingers, “Sam~”
Samantha shook his hand off and continued enjoying the scenery.
Richard once again pulled her sleeve, “Sammie~ I really did not understand. I am not playing with you. I promise. Don’t be angry with me, okay?”
Samantha wanted to laugh out loud but she stopped herself. She did not turn back as she continued pretending to be angry at Richard.
