The next morning Rose emerged from her room to the early afternoon glow seeping into the alpha manor. She hadn’t slept well at all last night, afraid to go back to sleep because of that awful nightmare. The bags under her eyes were a testament to the fact that she'd done nothing but toss and turn all night before idly getting lost in a book, hoping it would help her sleep.
