Rose was reading a book titled 'Game of Thrones’, a deviation from her favorite book ’The Count of Montecristo’, and Jake was reading over a stack of Rose's class notes. Rose’s legs were stretched out in front of her as she wore a denim skirt and matching denim sleeveless top. Her peaches and cream skin didn’t seem to mind the lazy afternoon sun. It didn’t redden like it usually would have. She was completely oblivious to Jake’s wistful gaze on her as she basked in the sun, eyes trained on her book.
