Mid-August arrived all too soon, in a whirlwind of preparations for the ceremony. Xavier was busy with his own work and Lana was responsible for taking Rose to summer classes. Xavier also accompanied Rose a few times in a week since he needed to get enrolled for his masters and sign up for classes. Those were the days that Rose had an extra skip to her step and enjoyed the light banter between them.
