"Why didn't you ever tell me any of this?" Tony asked quietly one night as they lay together in bed, his fingers lightly skimming over her bare arm.

"I asked you so many times," Tony said quietly. "Not because I wanted to know the details, but because I could sense that something was off about whatever went on between you two."
