“We…have a kid together?” Lana ventured uncertainly, sitting back down in her chair, elbows resting on her knees as she leaned forward towards Tony.
Tony coughed into his hand discreetly.
“Two.”
Lana nearly jumped at his response. Two? She had two kids in the future with Tony?
“Are we…happy?”
Again, uncertainty tinged her voice.
Tony heaved a sigh.
“I think so. Seemed that way.” Tony finally looked up to meet Lana’s eyes. “We’re in love.”
Lana’s brows furrowed. “How can you be sure?”
“You…told me, in the future. You said you loved me.” Tony said the words almost reverently as a fond smile erupted on his face.
His eyes got a faraway glazed look as he recalled how she’d fallen asleep hugging him when she’d said it.
“Oh no.”
Tony was snapped back to reality as he looked at Lana
