Over the course of the next few weeks, Rose avoided Xavier like the plague. She made it a point to stay away from his home if she saw his car parked outside. Once the new semester started up, Rose was busy in classes and rarely had any free time to roam around pack territory anyway.
It was as she sat with Jake after a class they had both just taken together that Rose allowed herself to forget the stress of the past few weeks. Constantly, she had been looking over her shoulder expecting to see Xavier pop up out of nowhere. Even on campus, she was afraid of running into him but she knew he wasn’t a science major so his classes were probably on the other side of campus in the humanities and social sciences building.
