“Thank you for coming with me.” Rose said quietly after she settled into the taxi with Xavier. They had just gotten out of the airport and into the taxi Xavier had booked for them. Xavier had been leaning back in the back seat, eyes closed because he was exhausted. He had dark circles under his eyes and Rose had barely seen him this past week because she knew he’d been working overtime in his alpha duties to make sure that everything would run smoothly while he went off to New York with Rose.
