Chapter 15

688 Words
Farrell's POV I can finally shift now. My wolf needs a release and it's finally set. People told me that the first shift is often the hardest. But no one prepared me for the deformation and reformation of my bones that required lots of rest following the first shift. My wolf is finally ready and I am standing in the valley. In my wolf form. The huge gray wolf is howling and it feels so different here inside, watching everything through the eyes of a wolf. Sebastian got me everything that I wanted for me to start my conquering journey. Alpha Louis is already out of the list. I killed him the same day itself. But my first stop is at his pack. Technically I am their Alpha. And I have to answer them as to why I killed Alpha Louis. I need to apologize to Alpha Louis's four year old son. He shouldn't grow up thinking I killed his father so he should avenge me. Because that was exactly what I did. I killed him to avenge my mother whom he killed. "We are going to go on a savage run. Everyone who did this will pay," my wolf Lyon says. I agree with it. "Are we conquering The Moon Set Pack too?" Lyon asks me again and I think about it. It's Aylee's pack. She wasn't even there at the scene. I bet no one even told her what was happening. Meghan only told me that she noticed Aylee being cornered by Alpha Louis. I don't know what's the deal between them. But I hope I can find out soon. Even if I do, Alpha Louis isn't here anymore. So I guess that's just it. I shift back into my human form and throw on my clothes that I left there before shifting. I sit under the tree overlooking the valley for a while and get back to the pack house. "Even if it's war, you are not walking out of here without having my red velvet cookies," Meghan screams from the kitchen making me laugh. "I know. I want to stay alive, please" I say that made her scoff all offended. Sebastian is here already and we also got the army that we needed for our first battle. After the first battle, since I'll be the Alpha of that pack I can command their forces. I can send a few back home so the security would still be tight here at my pack. Gamma will stay here for a while and Sebastian is coming with me. Meghan walks out with a tray of cookies and offers both Sebastian and me. Sebastian just starts eating them as if he is in a competition as to who eats more cookies. Meghan pulls the chain on my neck and I look at her confused. That was the talisman I wore since I was a kid. Mom repeatedly told me that the talisman helped them to know where I was every single time. "I upgraded it," she whispers and slips a bracelet over my wrist. "It protects you when you need it the most," she tells me and I pull her closer hugging her. Sebastian joins us too and I grab a cookie as I walk out. This is my first time walking out of the borders. I remember once when I was a kid I thought I saw my mom and ran out of the borders and straight towards the witch who was waiting to kidnap me. I still bear the scar on my cheek. The one she gave me. Mom told me that the talisman helped both her and dad find me. I don't know how it worked. Never wanted to know too. I turn around to look at my pack once again. I don't know when I'll be back here. I don't know if I'll ever be. I might even get killed in the process because this is a war we are talking about. But whatever it is, I promised the Alphas that I would kill them. So be it. My conquering journey begins here. Now.
