Recuerdo De Amor Island 7: Loving You From Afar

Prologue LEIGH 8 years ago I'm heading in the place where the venue of our community service have to take place. We're obliged to participate and join the activity that our team organized. Gain and keep those knowledge for our time to handle our companies. 45 minutes later, I reached the venue of our team. Iilan pa lang ang narito at naghahanda para sa short program na gaganapin. Napadpad ako sa looban ng lugar, dito mas dikit-dikit ang mga tahanan at matao. Maraming mga bata ang naglalaro sa kalye, hindi alintan ang dumi ng paligid. Para akong nakakakita ng angel sa amo ng kanyang mukha. Hindi ko maiwasang titigan s'ya. My mind is trying to send me an image but it can't get through. Her face look familiar at the same time impossible since this is the first time I meet her. "Yes po?" Pasigaw na tanong nito kaya napakurap ko. Hindi namalayang napatulala ako sa katitig sa kanya. I cleared my throat at ibinalik sa drawing ang atensyon ko ngunit pinipilit kong inaalala ang kanyang kahawig. "You draw this?" I asked her sabay turo sa larawan na kanyang kinukulayan. Nahihiya itong tumango at ipinapatuloy ang pagkulay. She draw a beautiful house like a pro in a simple bond paper and she perfectly blend the colors to make it amazing. Kung hindi ako nagkakamali nasa 13 or 14 pa lang ang edad nito. Talent like that need to be taken care of. "Yes po, someday I'm going to be an architect and build this house, my dream house kahit ano pong mangyari," nahihiya niyang sagot ngunit puno ng determinasyon ang kanyang boses. I admire her determination to fulfil her dream. Sa isang batang squatter, she's ambitious. And looking in this beautiful young girl, hindi s'ya nababagay sa lugar na ito. "Study hard little girl and someday your dream will come true." Advice ko sa kanya. I will be back and make sure she will reach those dream. "Opo." Sabay ngiti ng matamis sakin. Damn!!! She's beautiful angel. Hindi ko alam pero ang lakas ng hatak n'ya sa akin. Hindi s'ya mawala sa isip ko kaya minsan nasa lumipad ang aking isipan at tinatanong ang sarili ko kung kumusta na kaya s'ya. Hindi ko mapigilang bisitahin s'ya ulit para lang mawala ang pag aalala ko. Since then, I often comes in there place to say hello until I meet her father and asked me a huge favor that I can't say no. Isang rebelasyon ang kanyang sinabi sa akin na dapat kong ingatan at protekahan dahil konting pagkakamali ko lang maaring makalagay sa kanya sa kapakamakan. It was an opportunity to help her grow up in a safe and secure environment. I gave her a proper education for her dream. I asked my old nanny to take care of her. And years later, told my friends about her situation so that they can help protect her. 7 years later, here we are at moment she'd been dreaming of. Watching her from afar just to make sure she's always safe and happy was enough for me. Looking at her right now as she received her degree in Bachelor of Science in Architecture, I can't be more proud of her. Her dream job is waiting with me, in my company and in my side. 'You did well my little girl. Congratulation!' I wanted to shout those words for her but I hold back. Sa tamang panahon masabi ko rin ito sa kanya. My long wait was over. It's time to claim what's rightfully mine. Now that she has grown into a gorgeous woman any man wants to have, time to barricade the path. Time for me to protect her near. Unfortunately for those who tried to capture her heart, she already belongs to me. And I will destroy anyone who dare to take her away from me. Over my dead body. My Angel, My love. Mine.
