"OMG that's so romantic!" I quickly hush her as she freaks out. I tell her about the kiss in the car, and decided to spill about my parents at this point.
"Oh, Liz, are you sure you're okay living with them?"
I shrug. "Well, I've been living like this for a long time now, and I'm almost finished with high school. I can stick it out for a few more months."
"Well, you can always come over my house."

"So are you two like, a thing now?" she's so excited, but it makes me think. That's actually a good question actually. We're definitely more than friends now, but I don't know what.
