**Chapter 4: The Magnificent Abode**
As Apple and Melon ventured closer to J's estate, they were awestruck by the grandeur of this house. Its magnificence made them feel like they were standing in the midst of a mythical world.
The front of the house towered like a castle adorned with intricately carved marble pillars, exuding an ethereal beauty reminiscent of a celestial garden.
Stepping inside, the sense of magnificence heightened further. The grand foyer was bathed in the radiant glow of crystal chandeliers, and large French doors welcomed gentle sunlight, adorned with luxurious decorations.
J led them through the lengthy hallway, where beautiful paintings and sculptures lined both sides, each piece with a rich story and invaluable legend. The air inside was perfumed with the scent of diverse flowers, akin to walking in a paradise of blossoms.
J's study was vast and imposing, furnished with mahogany wood and fine leather furniture. His private library was a treasury of ancient books, a treasure trove of knowledge.
In this imposing ambiance, J began to reprimand Melon.
"Melon," J spoke sternly, "what you've done is challenging and unnecessarily risky. Piercing through the glass ceiling isn't just dangerous; it's disrespectful to the authority I hold here."
Melon hung his head low, feeling sorrowful and regretful for disappointing his father.
"You've endangered yourself and the stability of Edenata 2.0," continued J. "This isn't a place for opportunities and safety... You should aim to be more than just the CEO here."
Apple observed Melon quietly, feeling both curious and admiring of the magnificence of the environment.
"I'm sorry, Father," Melon softly expressed.
J sighed heavily. He knew Melon was a capable and intelligent kid, but he worried that Melon might make more foolish decisions.
"You must promise me you won't do this again," J said.
"I promise, Father," Melon earnestly replied.
J sighed again, seeing sincerity in Melon's eyes. He felt a slight relief.
"Alright, let's rest," J said. "We'll talk more tomorrow."
Apple and Melon followed J to their respective bedrooms.
Entering the room, Apple sighed from exhaustion. She was thrilled to be in this estate but felt a slight concern about the conflict between J and Melon.
She turned to Melon, who was standing in front of the mirror, looking at himself with sadness.
"It's okay, Melon," Apple reassured. "Your father's just worried about you."
Melon lifted his head, turning to Apple with a gentle smile.
"Thank you, Apple," Melon said. "I'm lucky to have you."
Apple smiled back, feeling glad to be a source of support for Melon.
Both drifted off to sleep, but Apple couldn't shake off the events of the day. She wondered if J would ever allow Melon to live freely or if he'd continue to control him.
Apple knew this was just the beginning of a challenging and intriguing story.
**Chapter 5: Preparations**
**INT. Apple and Melon's Bedroom - Midnight**
Apple and Melon sit upright by the bedroom window, keenly observing everything around them. The world of freedom lies beyond that window, but escaping into that world will require careful planning.
**Apple:** (signaling to Melon) We need more information about the security of the house.
**Melon:** (cautiously touching the window) Is there any door or window that opens to the outside?
**Apple:** (subtly observing) There seems to be a door attached to that room. It might be the way out we need.
**Melon:** (smirking) And where might that be?
**Apple:** (pointing discreetly) To the right of the staircase.
They both glance in the direction of the right side of the room. The staircase's outline displays the path that could lead them out of J's estate.
**Apple:** If we're to get out, we need a secret plan.
**Melon:** And importantly, everyone needs to know enough to help us.
**Apple:** What should we do?
**Melon:** (contemplating) We need a way to signal everyone that we need help without letting anyone know we're planning to escape.
**Apple:** But without letting anyone know that we're planning to escape.
**Melon:** Sounds like a tough task.
**Apple:** (smiling) But that doesn't mean it's impossible.
They return to their beds, their minds filled with similar thoughts, preparing to strategize their escape to the new world of freedom.
**Inside Apple and Melon's Bedroom - Midnight**
The once quiet room filled with hope now echoes with the destruction of the security system! Apple and Melon hope everything goes according to plan, but fate seems to have other ideas!
The sound of shattering glass from the skylight fills their room with a bright light. Two fruit-shaped figures burst through the shattered glass! Two more figures—Pumpkin and Banana, creative-minded friends—appear amidst the slightly chaotic atmosphere.
**Pumpkin:** "What's the trouble?"
**Banana:** "We're here to help!"
**Apple:** (looking at Pumpkin and Banana) "Why are you here?"
**Melon:** "We didn't expect this."
**Pumpkin:** "We're here to help you guys!"
**Banana:** "What's the problem?"
**Apple:** "Did you hear the front door? J's coming back home sooner than usual. Why now?"
**Pumpkin:** "Don't worry! We're here to help you guys!"
**Banana:** "How can we help?"
**Pumpkin:** "We'll figure it out!"
They are ready to join Apple and Melon's escape plan, to fight against time and aid in their journey to the new world. Pumpkin and Banana are ready to be a part of their group of friends whenever assistance is required.
**J catches Melon, Pumpkin, Banana, and Apple in the bedroom.**
As J reaches the backyard, he's surprised to see Melon, Pumpkin, Banana, and Apple attempting to escape. They are hiding among the bushes and trying to climb the fence.
J rushes towards them and shouts, "Stop right there!"
Melon, Pumpkin, Banana, and Apple are startled and freeze. They turn to face J, fear evident in their expressions.
J asks, "Where do you think you're going?"
Melon replies, "We want to go on an adventure."
J frowns and says, "What adventure? The outside world is highly dangerous. You need to stay here with me..."
Melon insists, "But we want to experience things."
J says, "I'll provide experiences for you."
J then grabs Melon, Pumpkin, Banana, and Apple and locks them in his own prison. He secures the cell and tells the fruits to stay put and wait for him.
Melon, Pumpkin, Banana, and Apple are upset. They feel awful about being imprisoned.
They try to find a way to escape from the cell.
**Chapter 6: No Choice**
Suddenly, J enters the fruit prison.
**J:** Hello, fruits! I have good news.
**Apple:** Hi, J! What's the good news?
**J:** I'm going to release you from this prison and welcome you to 'EdenTech 2.0!' EdenTech 2.0 is a company that produces new breeds of fruits with special abilities.
**Apple:** EdenTech 2.0? What special abilities?
**Melon:** Pfft! Coming into a new company, whatever.
**Pumpkin:** (silent)
**J:** The abilities lie within you. Apple, you can speak. Melon, you can think. Pumpkin, you can feel. And you, Banana, can see the future! I am the father of Melon, and I have the power to turn Pumpkin and Banana into humans!
**Apple:** (silent)
**Melon:** (thinking)
**Pumpkin:** (startled)
**J:** (smiling) I know this is surprising, but it's true. You're not just ordinary fruits anymore.
**Apple:** (thinking) But why are we here?
**Melon:** (thinking)
**Pumpkin:** (thinking)
**J:** (sighs) That's a difficult question to answer, but I'll try to explain.
**J:** In this world, humans often see other living things as inferior. They believe that humans are superior to all other living things.
**Apple:** (thinking) Do you think we're inferior to humans?
**Melon:** (thinking)
**Pumpkin:** (thinking)
**J:** (smiling) I don't think you're inferior at all. I believe you have the potential to be much greater than humans.
**Apple:** (thinking) What do you mean?
**Melon:** (thinking)
**Pumpkin:** (thinking)
**J:** It means you have the ability to learn, grow, and change much more than humans. You have the potential to create a better world.
**Apple:** (thinking) How can we create a better world?
**Melon:** (thinking)
**Pumpkin:** (thinking)
**J:** (smiling) That's a question you have to answer yourselves.
**Apple:** (thinking) We'll have to think hard.
**Melon:** (thinking)
**Pumpkin:** (thinking)
**J:** (nodding) I believe you can do it.
**Apple:** (smiling)
**Melon:** Is it possible, Dad...?
**Pumpkin:** (smiling)
**J:** (smiling) It's alright.
**Everyone stays silent, pondering J's words.**
**J leaves.**
**Everyone continues contemplating J's words.**
**Apple begins to speak.**
**Apple:** I think J was right. We're not just ordinary fruits anymore.
**Melon:** I think so too. We have the chance to create a better world, but I'm still unsure of how it will differ from the world we came from.
**Pumpkin:** I agree. We'll have to work together to create a better world.
**Chapter 7: Transcendence**
A booming advertisement echoes on the giant screen.
"Every entity in this world holds significance and uniqueness. At EdenTech 2.0, we believe in everyone's potential and in everything we create to transform this world!"
"As part of the greatest transformation ever envisioned, we aim not just for tasty fruits but for a grander world, amalgamating creative thoughts and relentless innovation!"
"Everyone's contribution, be it in creation or change, matters to us. At EdenTech 2.0, we are a conglomerate of monumental change!"
"We believe each fruit has the ability to change this world! Be part of a transformation filled with innovative ideas that EdenTech 2.0 has initiated today!"
**J:** Is everyone ready?
**Pumpkin:** I still can't see clearly how this will be.
**Banana:** Hoping it won't hurt.
**Apple:** Looks like a good start.
**J:** We're starting to modify biological features according to our research and ideas.
**Pumpkin:** (feeling change) Wow! I feel almost human.
**Banana:** (feeling change) Oh wow! My flesh is becoming somewhat firm.
**Apple:** Is this the best look?
**J:** (looking at Pumpkin and Banana) Yes, both of you have transformed into humans.
**Pumpkin:** (feeling change) My skin feels smoother, my flesh feels denser, and I feel stronger.
**Banana:** (feeling change) My skin feels stickier, my flesh feels sweeter, and I feel more robust.
**J:** (looking at Pumpkin and Banana) Both of you have turned into humans. Are you both ready to face the world?
**Pumpkin:** Yes! I'm excited to try so many new things.
**Banana:** Me too. I want to help people and make this world a better place.
**Apple:** You guys sound just like humans, Banana. I want to write about the experiences and the inspiration we've received.
**J:** I hope you all succeed.
**Pumpkin, Banana, and Apple, the Observers, leave the lab.**
**Chapter 8: A New World**
Fak, Guay, and Apple, the observant trio, stepped out of the lab, gazing upon a world bustling with people and cars.
Fak: Wow! This world has changed so much.
Guay: Yeah, it looks incredibly vibrant.
Apple: It feels like I'm dreaming.
Fak: What should we do now?
Guay: I want to help people.
Apple: I want to write a story about our experience.
Fak: Let's explore the city first and then decide.
As they walked through the city streets, people looked at them strangely.
Fak: Did we do something wrong? Why is everyone looking at us like that?
Guay: Maybe it's because we don't look like humans.
Apple: It's alright; we'll get used to it.
They continued walking until they reached a quiet public park.
Fak: It's so peaceful here.
Guay: Yeah, perfect for some relaxation.
Apple: I'll take a moment to sit and rest.
Fak and Guay sat down beside Apple.
Fak: It feels good to take a break.
Guay: Yeah, I feel a bit tired.
Apple: How do you all feel about our new life?
Fak: I feel excited and challenged.
Guay: I feel happy to have the opportunity to help people.
Apple: I'm grateful for this chance.
All three smiled at each other.
Fak: Let's start this new life together.
Guay: Yes, let's make this world a better place, 'Ghost Apple.'
Apple: I promise to write a story about our experiences for everyone to read.
Apple: (turning to Fak and Guay) Wait, what do you call me?
Fak: We call you "Big Apple," right?
Apple: No, you guys call me "Ghost Apple."
Guay: You look like...
Apple: (making a face) Hey! Is that how you see me?
Fak: Um, then how about "Apple Dude"?
Apple: (looking annoyed) What's with calling me "Dude"?
Fak: Alright, how about "You"?
Apple: (looking surprised) What! Are you going to call both of us "You"?
Fak: We're friends, right? Come on, dude!
Fak, Guay, and Apple continued resting in the public park.
Apple: So, where did Melon go?
Fak: It should be with us, shouldn't it?
Guay: Let me go and find it.
Guay got up and walked out. After a while, Guay returned with Melon.
Melon: Hey! What did you guys see that was so strange?
Fak: What did you see that was strange?
Melon: As I was following you, I saw Dad standing in the middle of the road.
Fak: Dad? Is that your dad who owns Eden Mart 2.0 and the Glumma Mart where we broke through the glass ceiling and got caught?
Melon: Yes.
Guay: And what's he doing?
Melon: He's standing there, looking around aimlessly.
Apple: Strange.
Melon: I was surprised too, so I went to ask him if something was wrong.
Fak: And what did your dad say?
Melon: He said he's looking for something.
Guay: Looking for what?
Melon: He said he's looking for "hope."
Fak: Hope?
Melon: Yes, he mentioned he lost hope before and now he's trying to find it again.
Apple: That's sad.
Melon: I feel sorry for him, but I don't know how to help.
Fak: Hmm.
The three remained quiet for a while.
Fak: Then let's start our new life.
Guay: Yes, let's make this world a better place.
Apple: I promise to write a story about our experiences for everyone to read.
Soon after, Melon rushed back to find his friends.
Melon: Hey, guys! Do you know what happened to my dad?
Apple: What happened? Your dad.
Melon: I saw my dad standing in the middle of the road. He was looking around aimlessly. Then he said...
Fak: What did he say?
Melon: He said, "I found it."
Apple: Found what?
Melon: He said, "I found hope. I found the hope to continue living. What about you guys? What's your hope?"
Guay: Really?
Melon: Yes, I couldn't believe it either. I asked him, "What did you find?" He said, "I found hope. I found the hope to continue living. What about you guys? What's your hope?"
Apple: Wow!
The three looked at each other with a smile.
Friends apart, hearts connected beyond the ceiling.
