'It's the best at night, I promise,' She said quickly, putting a finger to her lips as she stared down at Marley with hazel eyes bright and hand tugging on her daughter. Marley stumbled behind her mother on stumpy legs, giggling before her mouth was being covered. She blinked up at her mother's suddenly weary expression. When she noticed Marley was looking, she smoothed out the stress lines around her eyes, 'let's not wake up your father. Shh. This is our little secret.'
