"Woah."
The music was even louder than last time, the beach party wilder. But the primary, most obvious difference between the first one she'd been to and the one now, was the giant water floatie in the lake.
And by giant, Marley means giant. Ginormous, equipped with a trampoline on one side, this tall 'mountain shape' on the other, and a slide in the middle. It reminded her of a bouncy castle but on the water.
There were dozens of people on it, surrounding it and jumping on the trampoline, sliding down the slide in big groups, jumping off the 'mountain' and doing flips into the water. The floatie was far out, but Marley could still pick out the councillors by the bright red rescue tubes they were floating on.
