Chapter 27: The Matter of the Past

The hut felt like it is colder than before. The intense tension in the hut is palpable.

Bai Qingniu look at this person in front of him. Shi Yuan, also known as the One Blade Shi Yuan.

He is the martial brother of Wang Li. His teacher is the Vice Leader of Broken Sword Sect, Wei Yan.

Shi Yuan roamed the Jianghu in the same periods as he was. He is even present during the conference of martial arts decades ago that ended his name as the White Ghost.

If its him, Bai Qingniu would understand why Wang Li would be convinced that he has the Scrolls

The reason is simply because he knows who Shi Yuan is and Shi Yuan knows what he is capable of

That would be the only reason why Shi Yuan could not let him go

Bai Qingniu decided to stall for time. He could not defeat Shi Yuan. Even if he had his internal energy in the past the still is would not be Shi Yuan match.

Shi Yuan said as he slowly lifts his blade and pointed it toward Bai Qingniu. The small hands of his granddaughter stiffened as she grabs tighter on Bai Qingniu robe from behind.

Xu Wen come closer to his teacher but his face is pale and his feet and hand is trembling in fear.

He still holding the sword but what use of his sword when his disciple did not learn martial arts. He had never taught his disciple martial arts fearing that his disciple would get entangled with the matters of the martial arts world

Bai Qingniu felt a pain in his hearts

These are not the faults of the kids. They should not have been involved in this matter since this is his matter in the past.

Bai Qingniu shake his head, sighed and then said

Xu Wen also look at his teacher. Shi Yuan only smirks and said

‘They stay. This one say they stay, so they will stay’
