He does notice something though. While the Martial Skill points and the Lightness skill points is rewarded a lot his life skill points only increase in the meager number of five thousand skill points.
‘Why?’ He asks himself.
Then thinking about it, it might be because of the nature of the quest.
Or maybe it is released to the usage of the skills. In the battle with the wolf, Li Xian uses a lot of attack and lightness skills.
Maybe that is why the martial skill points and the lightness skill points shot up to twenty thousand but Life skills that is not used that much did not increase that much.
Nonetheless he had a lot of money, a lot of skill points and a lot of lightness skill points. Like any games, the quest the system gives you is probably the most bountiful.
With all the points and stuff he got from the system, there is a lot of things he could do right now.
He could open the meridians in his body, improve his internal energy or rank up his power level or his martial arts and buy new stuff.

He thought of something.
There is something he wanted to buy. A lightness technique. He only had one lightness technique.
He could not buy more because he lacks money before.
Fighting with beast with one lightness technique might not be that dangerous.
But if he fights with people with only one lightness technique, sooner or later, the enemy could read his pattern easily.
He did not want to buy the Striding on water technique. He changed his mind. Because unless there is a lake or a river, this kind of lightness technique of striding in the water is useless for him now.
He wanted to buy the Cloud Stepping Step. He saw the skill before. The price is the same as the Striding on Water skill and the effect is more useful for him

He had a lot of lightness skill points. He could either raise the Swift Strides lightness skill to grandmaster level by using 15 thousand points or using it to raise Cloud Stepping Step.
‘It would not be too late to increase the rank of Swift Strides later’ he thought to himself
‘Rank up Cloud Stepping Step first so I have a bit more variations of my lightness technique’ he thought.
He then uses 6060 lightness skill points to raise up Cloud Stepping Steps to Master level.
He is now left 17880 lightness skill points which is still a lot.
Li Xian closes his eyes and he could see himself jumping twice in the air and glides down.
He could not change direction in the air but at least he could jump even higher than before and somersault easily by using the rebound force of the jump.
If not for how short he appears, he would look pretty elegant like a scholar who is proficient in both sword and pen.
He opens his eyes and he understood everything on how to execute this new lightness technique
Li Xian could buy another lightness skills and rank it up to master level or store it to level one of the two into grandmaster level.
Maybe there would be a qualitative change when he ranks up the lightness skill to the pinnacle.
He decided to store the points. He did not desperately need to use it now after all. Now that is settled he look at his other attributes.
Then he said to himself
What should I do?’
Increase his internal martial technique or the rank of his power level. Looking at Weak Body and Mind did not exactly boost one confidence.
And it almost felt like the system is mocking him. But it is not enough for him to reach grandmaster level with 20,220 martial skill points.
To raise until grandmaster and break through the power level he needs more skill points than just 20 thousand points.
No to mention he did not yet reach rank 4(Master) in his power level rank which already would cost him fifteen thousand skill point.
Wouldn’t it be more prudent for him to raise his martial technique. He could rank up both his swordplay and palm attack to Master rank by spending ten thousand points
Or he could focus on one of the martial technique and rank up straight to grandmaster level by spending twenty thousand points.
‘I did not have any skill that is at grandmaster level. If I pushed the Seven Transformation Swordplay to the grandmaster level that is already enough for him to survive in this forest’ he thought to himself
He looks at the points and gritting his teeth and then said to himself
‘Don’t be too greedy’ he could solve other quest later and store more skill points.
This is the disadvantage of not knowing anything about the area and the world. Li Xian is full of feeling of uncertainty.
Every move he made, it is full of uncertainty. the reason for this uncertainty is because he did not know anything about this world.
If he knew the power level of people of this world, he could at least determine whether he should store it for later or spending it so he would not regret when fighting an enemy later on.
The one thing that he is scared off is the fact that if he stores the martial skill points and did not use it, later when he met someone who is very powerful and die under their hands, he would feel regret for not spending the skill points to strengthen himself.
He shakes his head and then said to himself.
‘In the first place, I have to survive. Right now, the right choice is to strengthen myself’
He then dumped twenty thousand points to rank up his Seven Transformation Swordplay to the grandmaster level.
With one rank up he is broke again. The Expert rank cost 5000 thousand points.
The grandmaster rank cost 15 thousand. So, twenty thousand points that he got from the quest reward disappeared just like that.
The moment that the Seven Transformation Swordplay reaches the grandmaster level, for a moment, Li Xian eyes shines. In his mind right now, he could perform all seven moves of the Seven Transformation Swordplay without flaws.
Wherever the sword in his hand pointed, there is a terrible surge of force exerted and released. The seven moves are simple. But also dangerous.

He then checks the interface and he was shocked to find out that the requirements for the raise to his power level decreased to only 20 thousand points.
Li Xian frowned and then he makes a conjecture.
Could it be that one personal improvement would also affect the points needed to increase one ranks?
Maybe because he has mastered the Seven Transformation Swordplay to grandmaster level, the points for raising his power level is reduced.
He shakes his head and then he decided to use all of his Life Skill points to raise Hunter Life Skill to Apprentice using 1200 Life skill points.
He then bought the Storage Bag.
Finally, he has enough money to buy it. The reason why he did not have enough money to buy it before is because the price is really pricey.
It is 4 Ding. But Li Xian knows he could no longer store any items inside the system so he bought it.
The dagger cost him twenty liang. There is a new window appears in his status interface.
He then brought all the items in the items store and put it in the Storage bag. He puts the daggers and the wolf fur and all the daggers
He tries to put the dead wolf into the storage bag and the notification that come out was

The Storage bag have 40 slot. When he touches the window, a pop up window appears and explain about the limit. One slot could be filled with the same type of item.
Each slot has a stack limit of 99. After that, it would be moved to other slot.
Li Xian the sighed. Today, just a few hours have changed his life so much.
Now, that he had settled everything he felt a bit exhausted. There are still many questions and there is till many problems.
But he is trying to be clam without breaking down right now. In his mind, there is many conjecture about what happen to him and there is a lot of plans of how to survive tomorrow.
But, at this time, he just wanted to rest. he looks around him and sighed deeply. The hut is dilapidated and ugly. It is also wet and full of the stench of blood.
He brought out one of the wolf fur clothing and put it on the wooden surface of the hut. He at the beginning wanted to try to meditate and compare what kind of increase would be there in the martial skill points.
