A Firm Hand

Ashton's POV

" No! Don't touch me!" Hailey screamed as my brothers brought her to us.

" Father this is wrong. " I said to my father. Hailey has been on my mind ever since the day I saw her and I seem to be taken by her. I wanted to have her but not like this. I want her to love me but how is she going to do that when she looks at me with such hate in her eyes.

" I have been told that you are a not a submissive woman, no matter. You will learn. " My father said. He was smiling, he was enjoying this and I on the other hand felt sorry for her.

" Let's go." My father said and brothers dragged Hailey out of her home.

" You better stop all of that or things will only be worse for you." I said to Hailey as she fought with my brothers.

" Give me the bag. " My father said. I gave him the bag. He took out gloves in the bag and wore them, then he took out a chain, not just any chain but a silver chain. " Now if you don't stop all of that, I will tie you up in these." My father said.

Werewolves are repelled by silver, just touching it burns like acid. That is why my father had to put on gloves to take the chains out.

" You are a monster. " Hailey said but she stopped fighting. No werewolf can handle silver and Hailey knew that she. She had no choice but to keep quiet. We went back home to our forest and the whole time Hailey didn't say anything, she just kept her mouth shut. I didn't say or do anything because I didn't want my father to know how I truly feel about Hailey.

Hailey is right, my father is a monster and if he knew that she means something to me, he will have no problem using it against me. That is why it is very important that he never finds out. We got home and as expected, my mother was waiting for us. She was smiling.

" Is this her?" She asked with a smile. Hailey didn't say anything. She just looked at her.

" Yes dear." My father said with a smile.

" She is so pretty... Come child, I'll show you to your room." My mother said in excitement.

" No, she will stay with Ash, they need to get to know each other, they are getting married on the next full moon." My father said. Hailey still didn't say anything.

" Ash take her to your room." My father said.

" Let's go." I said to her. She didn't say anything. She followed me to my room. I opened the door and she went in. She didn't say anything. She went to the bed and laid on it. She turned her back on me.

" I'll send someone to bring you food." I said to her. She still didn't say anything. I left the room. I went to the throne room and found my father sitting there like he didn't just turn my whole world upside down.

" A Regala Madura? I can't believe you did that." I said to him.

" Ashton you are going to take over the pack someday and when that day, you will realise that as an Alpha, you will do anything for power, is my new daughter in law settling in?" He asked me.

" Well she's not talking or fighting, I guess that is a good sign right?" I asked him.

" Hmmm, it seems like you have a lot on your plate but she will come around, eventually, they always do." He said.

" I hope so. " I said. I left my father's study and I went downstairs. My mother was holding a tray.

" Something smells nice. " I said to her. I love my mother. She is sweet and a bit hard headed and as heartless and as mean as my father is, he loves my mother dearly. She is our Luna and she is very wise, infact I think that she is the wisest woman in the whole pack.

" Yes, nothing warms a heart like good home cooked meal, this is for my daughter." She said.

" Well thanks to dad she hates me." I said.

" That's a first." My mother said.

" What is a first?" I asked him.

" You never ever cared about what anyone thinks of you and on your first meeting with her, you are worried about how she feels about you? I think that you might actually like her." She said with a smile.

" You should have seen the way she looked at me and to top it off, dad threatened his whole pack, I would have never done that. " I said.

" You are not your father son and you know, he is not all bad." My mother said.

" Here, take this to Hailey." She said.

" I don't think that's a good idea, I am pretty sure that she will think it has poison, maybe you should take it. " I said to my mother.

Hailey didn't hug my mother back when she greeted her but she didn't give her the stink eyes, she is more likely to eat if she takes it instead of me. My brothers said that she was strong, not that they needed to tell me because I could see that she was fighting to be free. I suppose every creature has that instinct. She is here because she has no choice but still that doesn't change the situation.

My mother went and to give her food and quickly came back with a mortified face. My heart sank, that means that something was wrong.

" What is it mother?" I asked her.

" She is not there son... she ran away." My mother said. I know that my father won't take this lying down. He will punish her and it will be harsh. It was getting dark outside.

" Tell no one about this, I'll find her, I'll bring her home. " I said.

" Ashton you can't do this by yourself, at least take your brothers." She said.

" No mother I have to do this, tell no one! Promise me that you won't tell anyone." I said to her.

" Fine but if you are not back with her before morning, I am going to tell your father. " She said.

" Fine..." I said.

I went to my bedroom and found that she had left a headband, it was a silk headband. I remember seeing it on her wrists. I picked it up on there floor. The fact that the window was open means that she escape through it. There was no other ways she could have gone but through the forest and lucky for me, I know the forest like I know myself, if she out there then I am going to find her. I put the headband on my nose and I could smell the sweet scent of her perfume.

I did like she did and got out through the window. I walked a few minutes into the forest and then the scent changed. It was obvious that she had phased. Her scent was so strong. I wonder why they never told her that the scent is strong for a virgin she werewolf. She was just making things a little easier for me. Her scent was so strong, even my wolf could feel it, it was practically leaving me a trail, I phased and followed the scent.

Twenty minutes later I was so deep in the forest even I couldn't tell where I came from or crossed. It was clear that she played me. She knew that we would come for her so when she got to the middle of the forest, she left her scent everywhere. I couldn't tell where she has gone to. I phased back. I ran my hands through my head. I had to find a way to know which way she went. I closed my eyes and I took a deep breathe. Even though her scent was everywhere, there was one path where it was at its strongest.

" Gotcha..." I said and phased back into my werewolf. She only but delayed me and more I ran, the stronger the scent got. It was then I started to smell something else, it was blood. I heard someone moaning in pain. I went there and when I got there, her foot was trapped in a bear trap made of silver. Being trapped by a silver trap while she was still her werewolf meant that she couldn't change back into her human form.

Without even thinking twice about it I quickly changed into my human form and I kneeled down and held the trap, I pulled it apart and she moved her trapped paw out. It was bloody and my hands were burning, it was like I had put my hands into acid. I started to heal and so did Hailey.

" You shouldn't have ran away like that, you could have died!" I said to her in an angry voice. She got up and looked at her paw. I will tell you the her wolf was pretty impressive. Her was as white as snow, not even a single black spot except for the blood where she was injured, her mane was perfect. She didn't phase back into her werewolf form instead she growled and showed me her teeth. That was a warning sign.

" Hailey phase back Now!" I said to her.

" Never!" She said and charged at me. I had no choice but to phase into my werewolf form. She stopped as she was not expecting to see this. I am bigger and stronger than any other werewolf I have come across.

" Bow down Hailey.. Submit! " My wolf said and growled at her. If she doesn't phase back that means that she will be challenging me. I hope that it doesn't get to that. All that she has to do is bow her head and back away, it is that simple.

" I am a daughter of an Alpha, NEVER!" She growled and charged at me. I don't know what she was thinking because even though she is also bigger than most she werewolves, she is still no match for me. I knew that I had to be firm with her, my father said that I had my work cut out for me and he was right. I am gonna have to break her.

I jumped at her wolf and pinned her down, my teeth went into her neck and I bit her, it was deep. She wailed in pain but she still struggled. I sunk my teeth deeper into her. " Submit!" I said to her.

" Never!" She said. I sunk my teeth in her again and this time she fainted. I didn't want it to come to this but she leaves me with no choice. She doesn't respect me and she also refused to submit to me. I now understand why my father is the way he is. If someone can't give you respect then you take it from them.

Hailey is not a little girl anymore. She is a woman, a woman who is going to be my wife and if I don't get her in line now, my marriage will be doomed even before it has begun. She is hard headed and so am I, she won't submit and I also won't let her be. I am going to do whatever it takes. I phased back and I carried her through the forest and that is when I heard footsteps. I looked up and saw my brothers. They must have also followed her scent. That means that my mother told them. They phased back into their human form.

"Jesus man, what did you do to her?" My youngest brother asked me. They saw the blood on her neck and her paw. She was starting to heal. I didn't want to bite her like that but she didn't leave me a choice. Hailey needs to accept her new reality, if she can't then I will make her.

" Why hasn't she turned back?" He asked me. To be honest I don't know why she hasn't been turned back but what she did cannot be forgiven. I can't make her love me but I can make her respect me.

" I don't know why she hasn't turned but if she wants to act like an animal, I will treat her like one, bring me the silver chains." I said to my brother.

" No Ashton, you can't." He said. He knew what I wanted to do to her and I know that it is a bit extreme but Hailey leaves me no choice. If my brothers are here that means that my father knows that she ran away and if I don't punish her, he will and he will make sure that it is harsh.

" Bring them!" I yelled at him. We reached the gate and I put her down. My mother came out running, my brother was behind him with what I asked for.

" Aren't you going to bring her in?" My mother asked me.

" No, she attacked me mother, Hailey will definitely try to run away again and you know what dad does to runners, it's better this way. " I said. My brother gave me the thick gloves and then he gave me the chains.
