Gavin’s POV
There was something different about Erin, something that Gavin was liking and yet was so curious about. There was a fire in her eyes when she pieced together the different clues she had gathered. It was like this was a passion of hers; or a long-lost passion that she had forgotten about and was just now regaining.
She was even more beautiful when she was passionate about something.
But what made her so passionate about this?
It was like she’s done this type of thing many times before. Danger didn’t seem to frighten her.
She certainly wasn’t the same Erin he knew back in high school, and he wasn’t displeased by it. But he wished she would act with more thought and not jump into action, putting herself in such danger.
