Word has already gotten back to the packhouse about this pregnancy. Beta Seth was exceptionally happy about this news.
“I’m glad you finally came to your senses and decided to do something about Miss Susanna,” he said with a proud smile.
“I didn’t do anything with her,” Gavin growled furiously, shocking Seth to his core. “I don’t believe she’s telling the truth.”
