Gavin’s POV
“Alpha, is it really necessary to return to the restaurant? You’ve been doing so well these last few days staying away,” Beta Seth asked as they neared the restaurant.
“I need to speak with her,” was all Gavin managed to say.
He’s hated not being able to speak with Erin these last few days. He’s been so wrapped up in his work that he’s hardly had time to think about anything else.
“What about Miss Susanna? How would she feel about any of this?”
“There isn’t anything between Susanna and me,” Gavin said to his Beta. “I don’t wish to be with Susanna. It’s Erin I want, and I need her to know this.”
