“What do you mean she has no memory of our breakup?” Gavin asked furiously as he sat in his office.
Beta Seth sat nervously in one of the chairs in front of Gavin’s desk.
“I mean, she called to talk about your engagement. She was surprised when I said you two broke up and shouldn’t have much of anything to talk about.”
That wasn’t making any sense. They had a clear conversation the other day when Gavin took back the engagement ring that Susanna stole. He told her that their relationship was over and she needed to respect that.
