Cole's POV
I look at Maria who is staring at Liam with wide eyes. But Liam is in no state to pay her any attention as he growls at the vampire.
"Oooh there! Easy easy!!" Rick rolls his eyes as he throws his arms in air as in surrender.
"Why are you obeying to what my mother is saying?" I question Rick.
Rick doesn't answer me and his eyes are on Maria who is still looking at Liam. But this time, she is afraid and shaking as a leaf. I wish I can comfort her right now but this isn't the time.
Liam growls a little loud gaining Rick's attention.
"I know you will not attack me because you still need to know who our boss lady is, and I know I am not going to take this chance because your bite can kill me. Stating facts!" Rick says.
"Hey pretty lady," Rick calls and Maria finally turn
