Chapter Six Erielle lived in what Sayen could only describe as a ‛natural’ house. From the human doorkeepers to the rooms at the top of the building, it seemed to have no modern appliances. No elevator—they had to climb five floors—no interfaces on the walls, no aircon, no control panels; in fact, Sayen wasn’t even sure if the place had an electricity supply until they reached their destination and she saw the lighting. Erielle led them into a large room on the top floor. Unlike the rest of the place, the room looked relatively comfortable.
