Chapter 6

"Wait, a minute sweetheart. I am not a hundred percent sure. My father used to go hunting with Marty. That is Jared's father. You said that fathers want and train their sons to hunt. I remember my father always went hunting at night. He has always wanted me to go." Garrett said as he walks over to Honor taking her hands looking t her as he talks to her.

"Your parents are talking about coming here. I can not let hunters come here. This is not good. You know that I might have to kill your father. If he comes after my pack or if he is a hunter. I will have to kill him." She said looking at him.

"There's more I tested him.  I told him that I wanted to go hunting with I'm. But in the daytime for rabbits. He said what he hunts for can only be caught at night." Garrett said shaking his head.

"My Mate's father is a shift hunter. I don't believe this." She said shaking her head.

"Calm down Babydoll. We will keep our pack safe. That is the most important  thing to us both." Garrett said wrapping his arms around her.

"But we have to tell my parents. Nobody else right now." Honor said looking at her.

"Okay, I agree with you. Let's go tell them right now." He said taking her hand leading her to the house.

Honor mind-links her parent s to meet them in her office.

Jay and Angela are in her office waiting.  When Garrett and Honor walk into her office.

"It's everything okay. It seems like something important. It's anything wrong?" Her father said looking at her and Garrett.

"It is important. Garrett will tell you everything." Honor said looking at Garrett she kisses his cheek.

Garrett tells Jay and Angela everything about his father and Jared.

Jay is nodding his head listening to Garrett. Angela is looking at Garrett then at her daughter.

"Well, son, it seems we have a sticky situation, you especially. You might have to make a decision. Who's side are you are going to be on. Your Mate or father, and friend."  Jay said looking at Garrett.

" My Mate, no doubt about it," Garrett said looking at a tall redheaded woman walking in the office.

Honor looks up. She sees that it's Bridget. She smiles.

"Alphas Honor, Jay, Garrett, and Luna Angela I tried to get here as soon as I could," Bridget said looking at Honor and Garrett.

" You four are not going to like what I have seen. Especially you Alpha Garrett. A witch casts a spell to break you and the Alpha's bond. Also to make you forget about your feelings for her. You two are True Mates.  I also saw the first day that you two saw each other. It was by water. Garrett, you were so excited that you told your parents that you were in love. Your father was the one that took you to a witch. All of this is your father's doing. He has a lot to be scared of. Garrett, you were born not only to be Alpha Honor's Mate. But to also be the greatest shift hunter that has ever lived. I saw you with sword-killing hunters with Honor fighting beside you." Bridget said looking at Garrett 

"That son of a b***h," Jay said clenching his fist.

"Give me a minute to process this. My father interfered with me and Honor's mating. I am a shift hunter-killer?" Garrett said looking at Bridget

"Yes, Garrett your friend is a hunter also. You are going to be put in several situations. Where you are going to have to save your pack, maybe your Mate from hunters. That is all I am permitted to you. How it turns out is whatever you two do." Bridget said looking at Garrett and Honor.

"Bridget, it's that why I do not smell his white chocolate and citrus scent? It's the scent I smelt the day at the pond when we were looking at each other." Honor said looking at Garrett smiling

"Yes, the spell is the reason. But your bond is stronger than the expected and your wolf and you connected to his soul that day somehow." Bridget is looking at Honor

"Babydoll. Do I smell like citrus and white chocolate?" He asks looking at her smiling.

"Yes, it's the most intoxicating scent I have ever smelt," Honor said looking at him smiling.

Garrett is looking at her still smiling.

"Once the spell is broken you will have your rightful bond. Your bond will be much stronger," Bridget said 

"What do we have to do to break the spell?  Whatever it is I am ready." Garrett said looking at her.

"I went by Loretta's house on the way here. That is the reason I wasn't here yesterday. She made something that we hope will break the spell.  Bridget said looking in her large black bag. She takes out two beakers with a blue liquid in them.  She hands them to Honor and Garrett.

Honor and Garrett  smiles  looking at each other as they drink the blue liquid

" But I do not understand how Honor smelt him. She was not old enough for a Mate." Angela said looking at Honor

"Because it was their destiny to meet early in life,"  Bridget said looking at Honor and Garrett.

Jay, Angela, and Bridget are looking at Honor and Garrett as they are finished drinking the potion.

"Do you feel any different" Garrett asks her as she is sniffing the air

"I smell citrus and white chocolate. What about you?" Honor said looking at him sniffing the air

" Babygirl, my feelings for you were strong. But now they are like out of this world stronger.  I remember everything that happened that day. My father told me that he was taking me to find you. That was when he took to the witch." He said smiling looking at Honor sniffing his chest.

"Don't say anything to your father About you knowing anything about the spell or who you are. Let him continue to believe that you don't know ." Jay said looking at Honor. She is still smelling Garrett.

"Thank you, we owe you a lot," Angela said looking at her daughter.

"Pumpkin, how long are you going to be sniffing your Mate?" Her father asks her laughter.

"I don't know, "She said smiling looking at Garrett.

"Well, I am yours to sniff  forever and ever," Garrett said as he wraps his arms around her smiling

Honor smiles at him.

"Garrett, you said your parents are coming soon. But you don't know when." Angela said looking at Garrett and Honor wrapped around each other.

"Yes, but I can't let them come here." He said shaking his head.

" Right. We four will be staying at our house in the city for those days. It's close to the pack  and the pack will be safe from your father." Honor said.

"Caitlyn and Sonja can handle things. But If we are under attack they will contact us. We will come back." Jay said looking at Garrett.

"Okay, as long as our pack is safe,"  Garrett said nodding his head.

"Jared and Jackson Phone Call"

Jared: Hello

Jackson: This is Jackson. What happened on the hunt last night?

Jared: I can only tell you what Xavier told me.  From what he said they tangled with that huge ass beast bastard. They killed everyone except Chris and Xavier. I had to work late last night so I didn't go. The bastard jumped into a speeding jeep.

Jackson: Ever since I saw his ass I have wanted his head as a trophy. I will be there in a few weeks. I want to go hunting. Now, what have you found out about my son's girlfriend?

Jared: Nothing so far. To be honest I haven't been looking. She seems nice just a little weird

Jackson: Now I want you to find out everything about her.  Then report back to me ASAP

"End of call"

Jackson hung up on Jared.

"Jared"

"Jackson is as crazy as hell. Garrett is a grown-ass man. I don't need to investigate his girlfriend. Nice t**s, sexy round ass. That's all I can tell him. Hell, she must be great as hell in bed. Garrett gave her his virginity and moved in with her sexy ass." Jared is thinking as he drinks a beer.

He opens another beer.

"Wait that was fast. He never said anything about her until that night at the movie theater. Maybe I should find out more about this Honor."  Jared is thinking as he sits down.
