Called by the Siren

Chapter 25: Dinner*

“Come on Bee it is time to put on your big girl pants and face them!” Jack said as he parked outside the Blackwood’s high rise flats.

Bee sighed, she had refused to see them when they had come to apologise after what they did. The more she thought about it, the more she knew she had been played by Viktor! Though this did not excuse the Twins behaviour, they acted very poorly. 

“Why does love have to be this difficult?” She thought as sighed again.

“Bee, go! Don’t make me get out of this car and march you straight in there!” Jack said in a firm voice.

“Can’t I?” Bee asked in a hopeful tone.

“No, you cannot stay with me tonight. Normally I would love you too, but you need to face those two and sort this out. The longer you leave it, the worse it will be!” Jack said wisely.

Bee moaned and said, “When did you get so wise?”

“Just go already before I get a ticket!” Jack said almost pushing her out of the car. 

Bee slowly walked to the Twins door and was about to knock. However, it opened before she had even knocked to reveal a worried-looking Aiden.

“Bee you came back!” Aiden said in a relieved tone.

“Yes, of course!” She said surprised as she found herself in massive arms.

“We thought you…you left us for good! When you didn’t …didn’t want to see us, we feared the worst!” Aiden blurted out. 

She felt another strong pair of arms around her and she knew it was Ethan. She was filling in a Twin sandwich again and she could feel her anger melt away.

“We are sorry Bee! We know we behaved badly and we were immature!” Ethan murmured.

“Shall we go inside and talk?” Bee suggested gently.

They nodded and the Twins let her go reluctantly before guiding Bee in. Bee gasped at what she saw, the dining table was fully set and Dinner was being cooked. She had never seen the Twins cook anything more than a bacon sandwich before!

“Wow, something smells delicious!” Bee said impressed.

“We..we cooked you, Dinner Bee!” Aiden said embarrassed.

“How did you know I was coming back?” Bee asked.

“We didn’t..we just hoped! Come sit down and we can talk as we eat!” Ethan said as she took Bee’s coat and Aiden pulled out a chair. 

“Why not?” Bee said with a small smile as she sat down.

Ethan poured Bee some red wine as Aiden served out the meal.

“It is ready brother!” Aiden said. Bee frowned slightly as she heard a nervous undertone to Aiden’s voice.

“Are you alright Aiden?” Bee said concerned as the Twins put down the plates.

Bee looked at what was on her plate, it was a kind of bean stew with rice. It smelt amazing!

Bee took a spoonful and moaned in pleasure. “Wow, this is so tasty! What is this?” she said happily.

“It is a Brazilian dish called Farofa. It made of bacon, beans and tapioca flour!” Aiden explained.

“Brazilian? Where did you learn to cook that type of food?” Bee said surprised. 

She would have thought if anything they would know how to cook Chinese food. After all, they had spent many years in China as part of the Nine-Tails fighting gang.

“Mat, one of our Nine Tails family, is Brazilian and taught us!” Ethan explained.

“Yeah. He thought that he would keep us out of trouble!” Aiden said.

“I am guessing it didn’t?” Bee said as she shovelled folk falls her Farofa into her mouth. She was very hungry after the day events.

“No, I didn’t!” Aiden admitted.

“Now there is a surprise!” Bee said with an eye roll.

“Bee..” Aiden started to say.

“Please don’t leave us! We know we messed up!” Ethan suddenly blurted out in a panicked tone.

“Leave you? What?” Bee said confused.

The Twins continued. 

“We know you think we are experienced in relationships, but we are not!” Aiden said taking one of his hands on both of his.

“What? But you slept with loads of woman!” Bee said confused.

“Yes…I mean with had our fair share of women, but never you know..” Ethan said deeply blushing.

“No, I really don’t!” Bee said. She just wished they would spit it out! She had never seen them so embarrassed.

“Girlfriend…we never have had a Girlfriend!” Aiden said quietly.

“Oh! Why not?” Bee said shocked. She thought that these two would have had at least one major relationship. But who was she to judge?

“Because…we have never wanted to!” Ethan said looking at Bee.

“Until now that is! Bee you don’t understand how special you are!” Aiden said quickly.

It was now Bee’s turn to blush deeply.

“So when we saw that Viktor was obviously trying to make a move on you, we just snapped!” Ethan said.

“Yeah, we acted like idiots and played right into that d**k’s hands!” Aiden said frustrated.

Bee sighed and said “Look I know Viktor played games and I am sorry too. But, you two have to understand, I work with men. They are part of my role and if you plan to stay with me, you will have to get used to it!”

“We know...it is just..” Ethan said.

“Look I get it, I do! The thought of you working with women make me….uncomfortable! But I trust you both! You need to understand that..that I love you and no one else interests me!” Bee said firmly.

“Oh Bee! You know we love you as well, so much!” Aiden said as he got up, he needed to feel Bee in his arms.

Bee got up and hugged him before saying “I love you so much Aiden!”

“I love you to Bee! You don’t know how special you are to me!” Aiden said before kissing her deeply.

“I love you too and I could not cope if we lost you!” Ethan said as Bee turned to him.

“Well, the thing about Sea Gangs is that we will always find their way home and you two are my home. Anything else we will just figure out together, OK?” Bee said as she kissed Ethan.

“Sounds good to me!” Ethan said with a smile.

“Good, now both of you come with me!” Bee said with a smile. She took one of their hands and dragged them to the bathroom.

“Bee?” Ethan said confused.

“What? I’ve heard the best part about fighting is the makeup s*x and I am desperate to see if it is true! Unless you don’t want !” Bee said with a sexy smile. 

The Twins did not need to be asked twice! Their faces broke into a smile as they followed their Goddess into the Bathroom. They were both determined to show her exactly what she meant to them.
