Called by the Siren

Chapter 27: I am here to Serve!

Bee was welcomed by the Magpies like one of their own, which was a good thing because not everyone was happy to see her. Bee heard the whispers, especially amongst the women, about her being a slut or how the twins must like the smell of fish. 

Bee ignored them because she quickly realised she did not know how to deal with this type of behaviour. Bee could handle men, but bitchy women was a different ball game!

Bee thoughts were broken when she heard a delicate sounding bell and an announcement for dinner. The guests moved into another room for dinner and the Twins guided her to the head table. Bee was about to sit down when she heard a male voice.

“My King, surely you are not having a non-gang member at your table? This is unheard of!” The voice said.

Bee turned around and saw it was Elgar Marsh, with his two daughters Camilla and Priscilla. 

“How could I forget that they would be here?” Bee thought.

“She is our guest and a Sea Gang member! How dare you question our decision?” Kurt growled.

“I hesitate to correct you My King, but the British Syndicate does not recognise Sea Gangs!” Elgar pointed out. This caused murmurs to ripple through the Dining Hall.

“As untasteful as it is, Elgar is right! Though the rules were not supposed to be interpreted that way, a fact Elgar well knows!” Chris Evans snapped. Chris was a Founding Father and helped create the rules.

“All I doing is protecting the King’s and Queen’s reputation. That is unless they think they are above the law?” Elgar said with an innocent look.

“Why you..” Ethan said, but Bee stopped him.

“Thank you, Elgar, you are right of course. It was a complete misunderstanding on my part and did not mean to embarrass the King and Queen. What a faithful and diligent servant you are! They would in no way think that they above Gang Law!” Bee said with a smile. There was no way she was going to let Elgar put Alannah and Kurt in a difficult position!

“Bee! No, this isn’t right, you are a Siren!” Aiden said in Mandarin.

“I am a Siren of Syndicate that is not currently recognised. Do not make a scene, it is what he wants! I am fine and I will see you after dinner!” Bee replied in Mandarin. 

Bee wasn’t sure where she would go, but she was determined to play Elgar at his own game.

Just then Brian came up to the table and said “My King and Queen, please allow me the honour of hosting your honoured guest at my table. Rest assured, she will be treated me with the utmost respect!”

“Thank you, Brian, it is good to see that some Syndicate members have remembered their manners!” Alannah said with a smile.

“Please accept our apologies, Siren!” Kurt said through gritted teeth. It was clear he was fuming but knew losing his temper is exactly what Elgar wanted!

“We will go and sit..” Aiden started to say, but Bee stopped him.

“No, you are Princes and should be positioned as such! Remember your duty to your family and people!” Bee said in Mandarin. 

The Twins looked down and nodded. They too were trying to hold on to their anger, how dare their loved one be treated as such.

“Thank you, Brian! Honour and Duty my friends!” Bee said with a nod before taking Brian’s arm and walking to his table.

Everyone sat down and the starters were brought out.

“She is a clever little thing, isn’t she?” Chris commented.

“Yes! But then she is Rosemary and Lenoid’s Grandchild!” Theo said and Chris nodded.

“Still that was completely unacceptable and I shall be having words!” Kurt growled.

“I am sure you will! But, she played the situation very well and saved a lot of embarrassment!” Chris pointed out.

“Which isn’t fair!” Ethan said angrily.

“She should never be treated that way!” Aiden snapped.

“Wine?” A waiter asked.

“No, thank you. We will have two vodka’s and oranges please!” Ethan ordered.

“Yeah and keep them coming!” Aiden said.

“Of course! I am here to serve!” The Waiter said with a smile.

Alannah sighed and promised that she would make it up to Bee somehow.

Meanwhile, Bee kept thanking Brian for saving her from the nasty situation that had happened.

“Stop it, Bee! Elgar has his nose out of joint because his daughters were sleeping with the Twins! You have no idea how happy it made me see that SOB upset!” Brian said with a smirk.

“Well, I am glad that I could be of service!” Bee said with a smile.

Brian chuckled and then commented, “It seems pretty serious between you and the Twins!”

“Why do you say that?” Bee asked as she popped some delicious Sea Bass into her mouth. It was her favourite fish and it was cooked beautifully!

“The fact that you three are courting and they can’t stop staring at you! They look completely miserable mind you! They also seem to be having an awful lot to drink!” Brian said.

Bee sighed and caught the Twins eye from across the hall. She waved and smiled at them, hoping to cheer them up, but the Twins looked even more miserable!

“Yeah, you are right! They look as miserable as sin, but they are known for being dramatic!” Bee said with a sigh.

Bee suddenly heard her phone go off in her bag, she cursed as she had forgotten to turn it off! She reached into the bag and picked her phone out. Bee noticed the number and frowned.

“What is wrong Bee?” Brian asked

“It…it is an important number. Is there anywhere private I can take this?” Bee asked.

“Sure, there is a small conference room at the side. I will show you!” Brian said as he got up. He guided her to the room and excused himself. 

Bee wasted no time in conference calling the number and as expected she found herself staring at the most powerful Sea Gang Leaders in the world. - her Sea Syndicate!

“We apologise profusely Siren, but we have called an urgent meeting!” Kyle, the Sea Captain of the Bloody Rogues said. 

Kyle Wordsmith headed up the USA Sea Syndicate in Bee’s absence. He was in his 30s and had long blonde hair that he tied in a ponytail, with brown eyes.

“It is fine Kyle, I am here to serve you all! Now, what is the issue?” Bee said

“Our women are being kidnapped by a British land gang!” Lucas, the leader of the Albatross Sea Gang and Australia’s Representative said.

“Tell me everything at once!” Bee said angrily.

An hour later the meeting had finished and Bee sat down with a sigh. Tears filled her eyes as she thought about the fate of those poor men and women. She clenched her fist and swore she would do everything she could to stop it.

Bee’s phone buzzes again and it was from a text from an unknown number. She opened it and felt her heartbreak in two as she watched a video of the Twins having s*x with Camilla and Priscilla on a live webcast.
