Chapter 29: Aftermath*

Twins’ Flat, London

The Twins woke up in their bed with the mother of all headaches. Aiden checked his clock and saw it was late evening. He cursed and managed to walk out of his room into the lounge. Aiden was shocked to see Theo, Kurt, James and Alannah waiting for him in the lounge. Even as groggy as he was, he could see something was wrong by the look on their faces. Alannah even looked like she had been crying, whilst Theo looked worried. Kurt on the other hand looked murderous.

“Hello!? What is wrong?” Aiden asked quickly.

“Oh, Aiden! Don’t you remember at all? What you did last night to poor Bee?” Alannah said in a voice that breaking with emotion.

“Bee? Last night?” Aiden asked confused. He tried to remember what happened last night, but it was all fuzzy. The last thing he remembered was Bee pulling him into a room and straddling him…..

Ethan came out yawning and stretching. He stopped mid-stretch and asked, “What’s up?”

Kurt got up and roared “You f*****g idiots! Do you have any idea what you have done? How could you sleep with Priscillia and Camilla last night?”

“What?! No, we…we didn’t! I swear Kurt!” Ethan said.

“Well the video evidence says otherwise!” James said grimly as he pressed a button on his phone. 

The large TV turned on and a video played. It was Aiden and Ethan being very intimate with Camilla and Priscilla.

“Oh, Ethan just like that! Yes, yes yes!” Priscilla screamed. As Ethan was moving between her legs.

“That is it, my Prince! Give it to me!” Camellia said as she bounced up and down on Aiden. James stopped the video. 

“What do you have to say for yourselves?” Kurt demanded.

“No! No! No! I slept with Bee last night, not Priscilla! ” Ethan shouted.

“Where is she? Where is Bee?” Aiden said suddenly panicked. The Twins ran into her bedroom, hoping to find her there, but the room was completely bare. They rushed back to the lounge again.

“Where is she?” Ethan demanded. The group all looked at each other.

“Please! We don’t know what happened last night, but we must talk to her!” Aiden begged. 

They had to make it up to her and explain. They just needed to know where she was...

Alannah looked to the floor, unable to look at them.

“It is too late for that!” Kurt snapped.

The Twins were about to ask, what he meant, but there was a loud continuous banging on the door.

“Here we go! I would stand back if I were you!” Theo warned as he opened the door.

“WHERE ARE THEY THEO?” Frank shouted as he shoved past Theo, quickly by Jack and Liam.

“Calm down and don’t do anything stupid!” Theo hissed.

But it was too late, Frank stormed up to the Twins and punched them hard in the face. They both fell to the ground with bloody noses.

“Frank!” Alannah said getting up.

 The Twins might have done wrong, but her instinct was to protect them.

“Don’t interfere Alannah!” Kurt commanded.

 Alannah looked shocked, it was the first time Kurt had commanded her to do anything! 

“Frank?!” Ethan said shocked after swallowing blood. He felt a kick to his stomach, making him feel sick.

“I warned you not to f**k with her, didn’t I? But you couldn’t help yourself, could you? Do you have any idea what you have done? Of course not! You are the most selfish, arrogant, pair of t***s that I have ever had the misfortune to meet!” Frank shouted as he kicked the both.

“That’s enough Frank!” Theo said as he pulled his old friend back.

“No, it is not nearly enough! They have no idea what they have done, what damage they have caused!” Jack hissed. He looked shattered, with massive dark circles under his eyes.

“Please let …us talk to ..her!” Aiden gasped.

“Talk to her? You will never talk to Bee or see her again!” Frank spat.

“May we see her, to offer her our official apologies for our associates' unforgivable behaviour?” Kurt said walking over to Frank, who was released by Theo.

“No!” Frank said his eyes looking like they were filling with tears and his face twisted in pain. Kurt and Theo were shocked by this. Frank normally kept his emotions private.

The Twins tried to stand up, but James snapped “Stay down you fools!”

“Frank, what has happened? Where is Bee?” Theo asked gently.

“She…she…is on a ….hurricane ship!” Frank said before placing a hand over his face and started to sob.

“No, she would not be so foolish!” Theo gasped, the blood draining from his face.

“She has, the Captain confirmed it. That was after a lot of threatening!” Jack said sadly.

“Frank, come and sit down. James, make some tea please !” Alannah suddenly said as she got up and guided Frank to the sofa. James jumped into action after muttering a curse to the Twins, who were slowly getting up.

“I am so sorry Frank, but you are going to have to explain to us land …lovers …where Bee is,” Alannah said gently. Her heart was breaking at how upset Frank was.

Frank did not say anything and Jack stepped in. “Bee snuck on to one of my ships last night, ironically called Honesty,” Jack said.

“But, she is a Siren! She belongs on the sea!” Alannah said confused.

“Normally, we would agree, but this is a hurricane ship! Hurricane ships are ships that sail in hurricane waters in peak hurricane season. It is extremely dangerous and there is a very high…ship sinking rate!” Jack said. He could not bring himself to say death rate.

“Only desperate or suicidal sailors go on these ships! Especially at this time of the year, you are almost guaranteed to run into a hurricane!” Liam said.

“Thanks for that, Liam!” Jack said sarcastically.

“What? We should not sugarcoat this! There is a high that Bee will not be coming..” Liam said angrily

“Be quiet!” Jack ordered angrily.

“It is happening again! How could I allow this to happen again? I am sorry I let this happen, Alisha!” Frank murmured.

“What is happening again?” Kurt asked.

“Bee’s parents died on a hurricane ship!” Theo said as he put a hand on Frank’s shoulder.

“Why would they risk it, if it is so dangerous?” James asked as he put mugs of tea down. The Twins had slowly got up and pinching their noses. Alannah saw the look of devastation on their faces, but she would deal with that later.

“To pay the syndicate’s tax off! The old chairman hiked the tax off and the Krakens could not afford it! I begged them not to, but they said they would be fine!” Frank said.

“So that is why Bee is so anti-land gang!” Kurt said.

“Yes! It is also already kicking off between the Sea Gangs as well and Bee is not here to sort it out! “ Liam pointed out.

“Yeah, literally everyone has seen that video and they want war!” Liam snapped.

“Can’t we just go and get Bee?” Ethan said quietly.

“No, they are too far and the weather makes it impossible!” Jack said.

Kurt sighed and said “This is not good! Not good at all!”

“Yeah, especially as the Twins were drugged by the Marsh Harriers last night!” Theo revealed. 

The whole room looked shocked at what Theo had just said.

"It doesn't matter, the chances are Bee is not coming back!" Frank murmured.
