Chapter 15
Zeus laid his hand on Ares’ back and led him down the steps and then turned and indicated toward the sky. “You see that?”
Ares turned and saw Zeus’ large palace that was built on a hill. It zoomed upward, majestic and tall, so high into the sky, a wisp of clouds floated around it. “Your palace.”
“I’m giving it to you and Christopher for the night.”
Ares turned to Zeus with a big smile. “Are you kidding?”
“No, son. Since this has been happening, I’ve gotten to know Christopher. He’s a fine young man, and I couldn’t be happier with your choice of a mate.” He looked at Ares. “You do love him, don’t you?”
“I do, Father. So much that sometimes I ache just thinking about it.”
“I’m glad because I love him too.”
