Winding Roads and bright stars

Several days later while Nessie and I were sitting at a small cafe she tells me about her families prophecy book and was wondering if maybe we could take a look at mine. I didn’t mind but I was still curious as to why she’s here of course but I’m grateful that she just wants to spend time here and look around get to know the land because one day I’m hoping that she’ll wanna stay. 

Nessie pov 

I’m sitting there with this man, I can hardly control myself I wanna kiss him to see if the sparks will be there but instead I ask him to see his prophecy book, I never expected him to agree but he did. I loved this village it was beautiful I want to stay as long as I can, I feel at home here which would be a welcome change. 

I smile just knowing that maybe he wants me to stay as well. My mate, the person I know I’m supposed to be with. This is gonna be so much harder to tell him, I’m gonna tell him soon because Jonah called me back to tell me that the wars have already started. I turn to look at the ocean knowing that he’s watching my every move. 

Jacobs pov  

She’s watching the ocean and I can feel how conflicted she is. I just wanna reach over the table and kiss her, say everything is going to be alright but I can’t because I know all about the wars that started, maybe this is why she’s here to seek the alliances of my pack. I get up from my chair and take her hand leading her down a winding pathway to the pack house so she can meet my beta Eli. We have been best friends since we were pups, Eli is the only person I trust to make sure pack business is handled correctly. 

Eli and Nessie are sitting there taking about alliances and battle strategies. It makes me chuckle to myself because Eli could go on all day about that kinda thing. Nessie turns and looks right at me and says that we need to go, sensing the urgency we gather up all the stuff we brought with us and I tell Eli to keep a strict patrol at the borders that the wars have started as the prophecy stated. 

Eli’s pov 

Something is up with my best friend, he brings a strange girl here to meet with me, yet neither tell me what’s going on. I got the feeling that he found his mate but he’s unsure how to go about it. I enjoyed talking to her, she know a lot about battle and alliances makes me wonder if she was hinting around about becoming an alliance. Before Jacob left he had told me about the prophecized war and keep strict patrols. 

As I was walking back down to my villa I seen bright flashes of stars in the sky, witches are known for stars and using them to talk to one another in Morse code. But why would they be this far out? Are they trying to talk to me? I decipher the code and it read. “They must finish the mating process or it’ll be to late”. 

Jacob was walking me to my villa when he got a call and a look of nervousness and confusion when I asked about it he said it was nothing. We stood outside my door for what seemed like forever when he told me goodnight but before he could step of the porch I pulled him into a long kiss that he returned. 

I knew he felt what I felt. I opened the door and led him into the livingroom where I discarded my shoes and purse then found his lips again, he put his arms around my waist and pushed me against the wall I responded with little chirps and moans and I felt him get rock hard I knew he could sense my arousal. I was so wet from him biting and kissing my neck that I didn’t wanna stop but he pulled away and said it was the time. At the same time we both said I know were mates. I wanted him but he was right it was the time.
