BloodLust Book One

Nessie

My name is Nessie and I’m part of the Fallen Stars Coven that is located up in the mountains of Witchhaven, Maine, I came to Crystalline Falls to find the pack leader of the Falls, I simply know him as Jacob Christenson. 

As i sit on a bench in front of the beautiful Crystalline Manor I see a man coming down the front steps I wouldn’t have noticed him to begin with but while I was singing along to a song I felt the sparks and the stares he was giving me. He was approaching me but I got shy and took off leaving the bracelet that my mother gave me before she was burned at the stake. It’s been hard trusting anyone especially when they are scared of the unknown. 

About three-thirty I walk back up the manor but to scared to ring the bell so i just wait on the steps to collect my nerves but then I see him walking back up the stone lane his eyes in shock when he sees me just waiting. I asked him if he had seen a bracelet in shock he took it out of his pocket and handed it to me as soon as our fingers touched I felt a shock or a spark of electricity. 

I asked him if he knew where I could find the pack leader and he said it was him. He invited me to lunch the next day but as I was getting ready. I looked down at my phone one missed text from Jacob saying he had to cancel as some pack business came up that we could do dinner at the manor at 7. I left the small villa that I was staying in about 6:30 it was only a 10 minute walk to the manor which worked perfectly for me. I feel as if I stood on his porch forever before I got the nerve to ring the bell. He answered the door and let me inside, he asked me what business I was here for but I told him we could talk another afternoon about it. I told him that I was sorry for the loss of his mother and that the pack is going to respect him as a leader. He thanked me and we walked into a huge formal dining room. 

After dinner he showed me around. This man told me everything about his life I was awe with everything he did and said his family history was quite similar to mine except I was a full blooded witch that was one day going to take over as coven queen and he was a Lycan king already even though he was young. I told him business could wait and I yawned an told him it was late that I should be going I could see the dissatisfaction on his face as I kissed his cheek goodbye and let myself out. I knew he was probably standing there in shock and that was my plan. Before I could get out the door he chased me down and asked if I wanted to take a tour of the territory and meet some of the pack members because they might be able to help with whatever business I was here for I agreed. 

I got home took a hot shower and thought about him, later that night I seen in my dreams part of the prophecy I awoke with sweat dripping of me. How was I gonna tell him? I need to gain his trust and maybe then maybe I can tell him about the prophecy. I grabbed my phone to check the time and then hit my contacts an called Jonah to see how long I had till the prophecy started happening but there was no answer.
