Rory’s POV I’ve never been in a situation like this, the crowd, the noise, the smell, it’s overwhelming. Gripping my pretzel tightly in my hand, I tug down the cap that Margot purchased like she promised, that is emblazoned with the home team’s name lower down over my eyes. We’re in the second row, surrounded by men, women and children, most of whom are wearing team jerseys with names of the players written on the back. The atmosphere is electric and it only intensifies as twelve men rocket onto the ice, skating around the rink a few times, holding up their sticks to the cheering crowd before each team gather around their goalie taking shots on goal. It only feels like seconds before each man takes their position on the ice and the puck is dropped, then it’s all out war, well that’s wh
