The next day Leila wakes to sunlight beaming into her eyes. She scowls and buries herself further under the blankets, not wanting to get out of bed. A voice states calmly, “You have to wake up, Leila." She protests with a small whine and pulling the covers further up. A sigh escapes his body, and she feels the blankets ripped from her frame.
