Shaun was so deeply asleep, that when she finally woke up it took her several minutes to figure out where she was, let alone what the sound was that had woken her up. She squinted at the unholy bright sunlight streaming in through the windows. She was starting to see a distinct drawback to the floor-to-ceiling type of windows.
