Isla’s POV Cora was not moving. Her eyes closed, it just looked like she was asleep. My heart felt like it stopped. My knees felt weak and wobbly like jelly on a plate. “Is she dead?” Mora gasped bringing me back out of my own head. She suddenly clasped a hand over her mouth. I snapped my eyes back to Cora, willing her to wake up. She’s going to be okay she had to be. My sister couldn’t die. I pray to the moon goddess that she will be alright, and then I feel Mora place her hand on my shoulder, trying to comfort me, that’s when the tears that I’ve been trying to hold back, started to fall.
