Facing Derek's probing, I cringed with embarrassment.
Begging him for help was the last thing I wanted to do, yet Dad's life was hanging by a thread. I had no choice but to swallow my pride.
So I bowed even deeper, my voice soaked in humility as I pleaded, "Sorry for my arrogance. I'm begging you, please tell me where to find Matthew."
Derek lounged back and asked coldly with a raised brow, "Why should I?"
Biting my lip, I murmured, "I'll do anything, please."
A sardonic smile curved his lips.
Then I watched as he gestured for a nearby Omega from the Black Thorn Pack.
