At least according to our bond and how my wolf interpreted it. Erina shivered, her entire body shaking. The bond with us was damaging her. Far more than we'd ever anticipated. "Princess," I soothed. I didn't want to hear that scream again. That cry of agonizing pain or see her crumple to the ground like a doll with its strings cut. If this was what injuries did to her, what would happen if one of us died?   "You're surrounded. Release Lord Paxton and we'll let you live." The masked man had jumped through the window, scattering glass in the entire room.We'd of course shoved Erina behind us to protect her from any of the remaining debris.
