Realizing she could not let this happen, Selima dashed out into the Jinn’s view as though she were responsible for the noise. “O thou son of a sandworm, more insignificant than a scorpion’s spit,” she yelled at Estanash. “Prepare this day to meet thy doom.” As she’d hoped, the Jinn turned all his attention on her and did not notice Prince Ahmad.
